Kyle's P.O.V
I looked over at Jeff and then he punched me, he got out of the car and made a run for it, damnit. I got out of the car and ran after him. He stopped running and put his hands up. "Why?" He asked me
"Because he has my little sister" I responded
"But he killed your brother."
"Nah I just made that up"
"I knew something was off about you, I haven't trusted you since you got in the car."
"Well, that's to bad"
"I'll take it from here Kyle" Then all the sudden I felt a sharp pain in my head..then blacked out.
I woke up a while later to my head throbbing, I looked at my hands and there were flowers in them, who put these here, I felt the pain in the side of my head again and touched the side of it and there was dry blood. I looked around and there was no one, the king wasn't there, Jeff wasn't there, and neither was his body, so that tells me he got away. I'm glad he got away, the king betrayed me, now its time to help Jeff.
Jeff's P.O.V
I woke up to the smell of nasty garbage next me. I got up and looked around to see if I saw the king anywhere. I walked back to where Kyle's body was and picked some flowers to put in his hands, and then walked away to go find somewhere to eat.
I found a little cafe a little later and walked in it to get me some food, I reached in my pocket to get my wallet out and felt paper, I took it out and it was the paper crown, my eyes started to sting a little bit but I kept the tears in. "Uhm excuse me are you ready to order?"
"What? Oh yes sorry, can I get a mocha latte and a bagel please?" I told her my order
"Yes, that'll be $5.30. Whats the name?" She said
"Ok, here you go and uhm it's Jeff" I said as I handed her the money from my wallet.
"Ok, that should be out in a few moments"
"Ok thank you"
"Your welcome"
A few moments later I heard my name being called, I walked up to the counter, and got my food. "Thank you, have a nice day" I said
"Your welcome, you too"
I walked out of the cafe and walked back to the alley I was in earlier to eat my bagel and drink my coffee.
I finished my bagel and coffee and layed back down to go to sleep.
