Settling emotions is like tending to a garden within, where patience is the soil, understanding is the water, and self-care is the sunlight that helps the blooms of serenity and where balance flourish.

Sky fondled his thighs while sitting alone on an empty table. He's currently inside a place he never dreamed of going. The white walls that enclosed the room were not tranquil at all, and the serious faces of the guards outside the door caused him more apprehension.

"Good thing that you thought of visiting me," said the man who was wearing an orange shirt and pants with a large black P on the chest area. He occupied the chair across from Sky. His expression was pale.

Sky averted his gaze, peering at the disturbing white wall. "I want to settle the things between us." And then he lowered his head.

"Settle?" Chance repeated. His voice remained bland. "Are you gonna bail me out?"

Sky fixed his eyes on Chance as he crossed his arms over his chest. Bumuga siya ng malalim na hangin. "Maglalabas na kami ng press release."

"And then?" Chance creased his forehead. "Do you need my help? Do you need me to say something to your followers?" His tone became a little sarcastic.

Sky shook his head, sighing deeply. "Aaminin ko ang totoo. Aaminin kong ako 'yong nasa video. Aaminin kong ginawa ko 'yon."

Chance swallowed hard after that. "And why are you telling this to me?"

"I never imagined my coming out to be like this. Hindi ko inakalang aabot ako sa sitwasyon na mapipilitan akong aminin sa mga tao kung sino ako."

Chance just stared at the man talking. His face remained poker-like, as if he wasn't interested in Sky's statements at all.

"Coming out should be something to be celebrated, right?" Sky continued. "It should be a joyful moment, something intimate..."

"Why do you sound like you're still blaming me?" Chance clenched his jaw, clearly irritated.

"Because you took that opportunity from me..."

"So hanggang ngayon iniisip mo pa talaga na ako ang nagpakalat ng videos mo?" Chance sighed heavily, his eyes dimmed. "Grabe ka naman, Sky."

"Hindi magsisinungaling ang ebidensya, Chance."

Umiling si Chance, halatang nasasaktan. His eyes slowly became teary as he repeatedly gulped. "Mahal kita, Sky, pero sobra-sobra na 'tong ginagawa mo sa 'kin. Dapat sana masaya ako ngayon kasi 'andito ka, pero gago, mas lalo mo lang pinalala ang nararamdaman ko!"

"I'm sorry, Chance..." Sky almost murmured.

"No you're not, Sky! You're not sorry!"

"Putang-ina! If you only know, gustong-gusto kitang depensahan, Chance!" Sky's voice raised. "I badly want to save you! Hindi mo ba alam na nasasaktan ako na makita kang ganito? Pero Chance, ayaw ko nang maging unfair sa sarili ko!"
