For weeks, a clandestine fire had burned between Shanks and Lila, a secret fling they had carefully concealed since her second week on board. No one else on the crew was aware of the stolen glances, the lingering touches, the secret make-out sessions hidden from their prying eyes. Their connection was fueled by a potent mix of desire and danger, the thrill of forbidden attraction that had ignited their hearts.

In the privacy of quiet moments, Shanks and Lila would steal away, finding secluded corners of the ship to indulge in their secret trysts. Their lips would meet in stolen kisses, the intensity of their emotions palpable in every touch. But they had never ventured beyond that boundary, each respecting the unspoken limits that kept them tethered to reality.

The thrill of their secret, however, was heightened by the near misses they encountered. They reveled in the dangerous dance of tempting fate, Shanks daringly pushing his luck by testing the boundaries of their hidden affair. It was a game they played, a game of hidden glances and stolen moments, a dangerous flirtation that only deepened their desire for one another.
But as all secrets eventually do, theirs was bound to be revealed.

"Shanks," Lila giggled as he kissed her neck. "Someone is going to see us."

"It's just us right now." He growled in her ear making his way to her lips. Before their lips could lock Shanks was thrown across the ship.

Lila looked up to see the grey haired old man to the side of her. Anger burned in his eyes as he lowered his hand.

Rayleigh unexpectedly arrived on the ship, chaos erupted, fueled by confusion and anger. The crew's initial confusion morphed into hostility as they confronted Rayleigh, his presence a catalyst for discord.

"Hey that's our captain asshole!" Yelled one of the crew mates about to lunge at Rayleigh.

"I'm the reason you even have a captain." Rayleigh shot back, a glimmer of red washed over his eye as the crew backed up.

In the midst of the brewing storm, Shanks's voice boomed out, attempting to restore order.

"Hold back men." He stood before Rayleigh and Lila, his presence a buffer between the two opposing forces.

Rayleigh's gaze shifted to Lila, his scrutiny evident as he took in her appearance. He scoffed, a mix of amusement and disdain in his tone.

"What is this mess?" Rayleigh said looking at Lila grabbing her shoulder.

"Rayleigh please calm down. They have been taking care of me." Lila protests.

Rayleigh laughs and looks around.
"Shanks putting his dirty tongue down your throat is not taking care of you. It's time for you to come back home. The Straw Hats are worried about you. They think you are dead."

Lila's protest was met with skepticism, and Rayleigh's revelation hit her like a punch to the gut. "That's impossible," she exclaimed, her voice trembling with shock. "I sent them a note a month ago explaining that I'm training with you. I told them I'd be back. I have another week here with Shanks."

But Rayleigh's response shattered her reality. "They didn't get a note. No one has heard anything from you. Luffy just told me a week ago about your disappearance. I've been looking for you ever since."
