Adams perspective:
After driving for about 25 minutes, we were finally close to the beach, Houses of the Holy by Led Zeppelin blasting on the van's speakers. The van belonged to Cody who was one of Henry's friends from college, he introduced us to Nick who was riding shotgun, and he also said we were gonna meet up with two of his other friends, Amber, and Chris. After getting through some traffic we finally found a parking spot. We all got out of the van with our stuff and I took in just how packed the place was, I even saw a big show stage.
Henry turned to face Adam, Violet, and Jimmy "I just want to tell you all if you see anything somewhat weird or off just let me know quickly, try to stay away from the more rowdy people too, and also please don't try and score some alcohol and get drunk I really don't want to get hassled by mom and dad if yall come back drunk". "I'm not even interested in drinking alcohol ever" Violet said, "Don't worry man we won't do anything too crazy, right Adam?" Jimmy said while putting an arm over Adams's shoulder "yeah don't worry about it Henry" Adam said.
"Alright then, let's go get a good spot on the beach" Henry said as he led the group to the beach. Eventually, we found a good spot to set up, I started to blow air into my beach float while Jimmy set up a big beach umbrella and laid down a towel while Violet unfolded a lawn chair. "Hey guys!" We all turned to see Chris and Amber finally arriving "Sorry we got here a little late, traffic was a nightmare and we had trouble finding parking" Amber said, "No worries, we also had trouble finding parking, I was thinking we could hang out at that table over there by the snack shack that sound cool?" Henry suggested.
"Sounds like a plan to me dude" Chris said. Henry then walked over to Violet to say something "Violet, me and my friends will be at that table by the snack shack over there, so keep an eye on things here and also don't wander off too far away from this area alright?" Henry explained. "Alright, no problemo me, Jimmy and Adam will be fine just go have fun" Violet said, With that all done Henry went off with his friends to party.
Adams perspective:
I decided to go take my beach float out on the water while Violet and Jimmy relaxed on the beach. I got up and started walking to the water before stopping and looking at some dude who was passed out on his beach towel. There was an open cooler next to him with some cans of beer in it, I looked around first to make sure nobody was looking and I snatched two cans for myself. I know Henry said not to drink but today is supposed to be about having fun and relaxing and I think I deserve that, with that I went onto the water, put music on my mini speaker, cracked open a cold one, and started relaxing.
Violets perspective:
The sun is bright and warm but not too warm to the point of being unbearably hot, it was at the perfect temperature. Jimmy, Henry, and his friends are enjoying themselves but the nicest thing so far today is seeing Adam relaxing out on the water. It's nice to see him truly relax for once since he's usually either thinking about the past or worrying about demons. God knows he needs a break more than anyone else here. But then I started to notice that it seemed like a bunch of people were missing, I started looking around and saw some goth girl with the right side of her head shaved leading a group of men down into an alley. Once I saw that I got a pretty good idea that they would just do some lewd stuff back there, so I shrugged off my worry.
Adams perspective:
I was sitting on my float in the water listening to music for the last 20 minutes. While finishing my first can of beer, I saw a crowd starting to gather at the show stage, I got curious and decided to get out of the water. I walked over to where the crowd was while hauling my float behind me, I stopped and cracked open my second beer. "Hmm I wonder who's gonna be performing" I wondered, "Verosika Mayday is about to perform" I turned to my right and saw a guy in a sleeveless ripped denim jacket with red spikes on it, he had a wolf head tattoo on his left arm, he also had a red eye and a scar over his left eye. To his right, there was also a goth girl who had the right side of her head shaved. "Oh really? I didn't hear about her coming to town" I said. "By the way, aren't you a little young to be drinking?" the guy in the ripped jacket said with a slightly concerned look on his face, "This is a party right? I'm just letting loose and having a good time, so what if I ain't 21, there's plenty of other people my age drinking here". "Still you shouldn't be drinking kid, are there any folks here with you because it's going to get really rowdy here once the show starts you should be with a group of friends when that happens so that you don't get overwhelmed by the crowd" The guy in the ripped jacket said, "Don't worry man I'm here with some people, speaking of I should go check on them actually, Nice chatting with you" I said in an attempt to end the conversation. Before I turned and walked away I couldn't help but notice the goth girl looking at the scars on my arm and leg, I finally started walking away after that feeling weirded out, but I could still feel that both of them were watching me leave.
