I'm a man that likes to be early for anything I do. But if push comes to shove, I'll be directly on time. Something about her though makes me want to  arrive early, earlier than I normally would. That's why, although I was early, I was utterly shocked when I walked through the door that she was already sitting at the table waiting for me.

She looks stunning. She literally took my breath away. Although that's because of two reasons: her appearing earlier than me and how beautiful she looks. No complaints there. Her lovely long black hair was curled loosely which emphasized her beautiful heart shaped face. Her eyes seemed to be darker than usual. She is clothed in a blue blouse and black skirt. Her attire is simple but somehow looks elegant and protrays her curvaceous body shape perfectly.

She was looking at her phone when I entered the restaurant but looked in my direction when she heard the door opened. Her eyes widened when she saw me. I'd like to say it's because I was early but I doubt it. I make my way towards our table. She took a full bodily glance at me before looking at my face once again.
As I reached our table I greeted her.

"Goodnight, Emma. Nice to see you've made it."  It is truly nice to see that she has made it since it was not me that invited her directly. Somehow she strikes me as the sort of person that doesn't care about fame and popularity. She could've striked down the offer and not show up like I have a feeling that she did with my offer for a job.

"Goodnight." She replied. Her voice was smooth and calming. I didn't realize that I needed to hear her voice once again. I took off my jacket and was left with my long sleeved white shirt. I pulled the chair to sit. While doing so, I saw her quickly placed her phone on the table. I saw that she looked a little bit tense. Let me put her at ease. I decided to ask her about her day.

"How was your day today?" I voiced.

"It was busy." She  replied while sighing. Busy? Looks like it was kind of stressful for her today as well. I wondered what she actually did today that made her so busy?

"Why did you sigh? I'm guessing you're tired also?" I asked. She seemed to be caught off guard when I asked because her eyes widened and her mouth was left ajar. I don't think she realized that she sighed.

"I sighed?" she asked eventually. I nodded my head in confirmation while gently smiling. It seems to be subconscious as I initially thought. "Yes, I am tired as well." She responded after a few seconds have passed. She asked me how my day went as well. Compared to other days, it was pretty okay.

"It was alright." I responded while looking at her. She had on make-up it seems. But it was minimum, almost natural looking. Her looks are so stunning that it seems to be making me lose track of things and time. I planned this date for a purpose and it's time to get down to things.

"How were the interviews?" I asked. She looked at me thoughtfully before answering.

"They were okay." She finally responded.

"Think you'll get a shot?" I asked. I wanted it to seem vague so that she didn't realize that I already knew the answer and also give her the opportunity to talk about her getting hired on her own.

"Um... I don't know," She responded. What? What does she mean by she doesn't know? Is she lying to me? "I haven't heard from any of them." That's ridiculous. She honestly expects me to believe that. Tom said he saw her at the photoshoot. It's probably a one-time job offer. Well, that probably means that she is still looking for a job and can still take me up on my offer. My face relaxed a bit. I didn't realize I became slightly tense. I streched  my hand out casually on the table which somehow caught her attention.

"How about we look through the menu and decide on our food?" I offered. She seemed to be distracted and I need something else to occupy my mind.

"Sure." she replied. I called the waiter over and let her place her order first. "I'll have a vegetable enchilada casserole and a glass of red wine please." He raised an eyebrow at me then looked at the menu. Is she serious? A fancy restaurant and that is what she ordered?
