After yesterday's unforgettable night , Victoria couldn't contain her excitement. She had to confide in someone, and her brother Nicolas was the first person who came to mind. She found him in the library, engrossed in a book.
"Nicolas," she began, trying to sound casual but failing miserably.
He looked up, clearly intrigued. "Victoria, you look like you've seen a ghost. What's going on?"
Victoria fidgeted with the edge of her dress, her cheeks flushed. "I've met someone."
Nicolas leaned back, a sly grin on his face. "Met someone, have you? Pray, do tell, dear sister."
Victoria hesitated, then blurted out, "It's Kaori, the pianist. And, well, things got a bit... personal."
Nicolas's eyes widened in genuine shock. "Kaori?! As in, a girl? My dear sister, you have a secret romance with a girl? Victoria, I didn't even know you were into... that!"
Victoria winced, realizing she hadn't previously discussed her sexuality with her extroverted and somewhat nosy brother. "Nicolas, I never really talked about it before, but yes, I'm into girls. And Kaori, she's amazing."
He recovered quickly, wiping away imaginary tears. "Oh, my dearest Victoria, you've been hiding this spicy drama from me? I thought we were close!"
Victoria chuckled, appreciating her brother's playful teasing. "We are close, Nicolas, but there are some things a girl needs to keep to herself."
He winked at her. "Alright, alright, your secret is safe with me. But you better keep me updated on all the most refined details of your romantic escapades as they unfold."
Victoria laughed, feeling a bit lighter after their playful exchange. Nicolas might be nosy and dramatic, but he was also incredibly supportive in his own unique way.
