"Are you fucking serious?" I say into my iPhone.
"Yes, they were making out at the old abandoned park" Jess, my best friend says.
"Ugh, just come over" then I hung up.
Well I guess they are done with. I knew they wouldn't last though, he was the biggest player in the school. He has had sex with almost every girl in school, including me. Don't ask, I was drunk. His name was Thomas, and I hated him.
When Jess arrives she opens the door and runs to my bed and, you guessed it, balls her eyes out.
"How did I not see this coming" Jess basically screams into my pillow.
I have to buy new pillow cases now, so much makeup is all over these.
"I don't know, but he is a douche, and we are going to find you a hotter guy, who is nicer. Go watch some t.v. and I'll go to the store real quick and grab us some essentials and we are having a girls day."
With that I'm out the door.
I ended up walking to Target because it was only 2 minutes away. I get all of the necessities including vanilla ice cream, a lot of chocolate, a stuffed animal, and I just picked up Revenge of the Bridesmaids and Mean Girls, my personal favorite. I started walking down the aisle with my basket when I got a text from Jess.
//From J: Hurry up.//
I start texting back when I bump into a very tall figure. By very tall, I mean like a foot taller than me. Wow. He helps me up and asks if I'm okay.
"Oh uh yeah I'm fine thank you." He is so tall.. And hot wow.
"No problem, my name is Luke." Plus he is Australian woah.
"Josie." I smile.
"Woah were wearing the same plaid shirt! That's cool."
"Haha yeah I guess it is" I giggle.
We start picking up my items when he notices I had Mean Girls and he fangirled and said it was his favorite.
I tell him thank you again and start leaving the store (I of course played for everything) but he insisted on helping me bring my stuff back home. I couldn't refuse so I let him carry half of the bags and let him follow me home, not in a stalkerish way at all. I stopped infront of my apartment and he tells me he lives about 5 minutes away which is cool. Hot neighbors is a win.
After we set the groceries on the kitchen counter Luke says,
"Well it was nice meeting you but I should be going now."
"No don't leave, my friend Jess is in the living room and she just went through a nasty break up. I can't take her alone so could you stay and watch Mean Girls with us?" I can totally handle Jess but I want to get to know this Luke guy more.
"Um if it is okay then sure I'll stay." After he says that I grab Mean Girls and his wrist then walk into the living room to find Jess watching Say Yes to the Dress. Typical, she loves that show.
"Hey Jess! I'm sorry but if you don't mind I brought a guy I met at Target to come watch mean girls with us. Oh and his name is Luke." When I say his name he pops out from behind me and waves to Jess and Jess waves back.
"I don't care about your new guy friend as long as he doesn't annoy me during the movie." Jess says. Typical Jess she winked after saying friend.
I put in Mean Girls and tell Jess and Luke I have to use the bathroom before we start the movie. I leave the room leaving my phone where I was sitting and go to the bathroom.
Once I come back I start the movie and sit in between Luke and Jess.

During the whole movie all three of us would quote the movie and I'm surprised Luke knows all the sayings, but it's cute.
After the movie he gets a text and reads it.
"Sorry guys but I have to go, my friends need me for something." Luke says.
"Oh well it was nice meeting you Luke!" I say then Jess says the same after me.
"You too guys, I had fun. We should do that again sometime!"
"Totally." I say. After saying it he leaves. This day turned out very nicely. I want to hang out with him a lot more now, he seemed nice and plus he was attractive. Right when I decide I think I should text him I forgot I didn't get his number, how will I talk to him?
Right after that thought I get a text.
//From Luke: Hi, when you went to the bathroom I put my number in your phone sorry for intruding! Oh and Jess gave me your password and that's how I got in//
//To Luke: Its fine! I was wondering if you want to come over again sometime and we could watch a different movie? Your choice.//
//From Luke: I would love to! I'll text you when I'm free again//
//To Luke: Okay! Well see you then//
Well I guess I'll be hanging out with him again.
