I shake my head out of my thoughts as I enter my apartment.
I throw my bag onto the nearest couch near the entrance and walk over to my room where I throw myself onto my bed.
I think about texting Michael but told myself I would do it later. As I think about what I would make for dinner, I hear the doorbell ring.
I groan as I get up and walk over to the door.
"Who is it?" I ask loudly as I place my hand on the door handle.
I waited for a moment, expecting an answer but heard none.
I decided to just open the door and catch red handed the stupid kid that would be playing a game, but I was taken back when I saw a face I had hoped never to see again.
"Why are you here" I spoke quickly, looking to the side avoiding eye contact with the boy in front of me. I thought I would never see my ex again after what happened one year ago.
"I decided to come pay you a visit" He replied groggily, alcohol echoing his voice.
I let him walk in and watched him as he stumbled his way over to the couch.
"Nothing changed" He laughed loudly.
I nodded as I walked over to where he was sat, crossing my arms I looked down at him.
"What do you want Andrew?" I spoke as I looked at him, disgusted by his appearance. His hair was now shorter and styled differently. It had became a darker black and his blue eyes were now grey. His clothes were hanging on his body loosely.
He looked up at me, his smile fading as he spoke.
"What happened to Andy?" He asked, reffering to what I had called him when we were in a relationship before.
I shook my head as I sat down at the other end of the couch.
"We have been over for one, long year. I dont know what your doing here, your obviously drunk and I would like you to get out please." I spoke harshly at him, the memories of our past invading my mind and I shook my head quickly to get rid of them.
He chuckled and his gaze was now on his lap where his hands were fiddling together.
"You haven't changed as well" He spoke, making it clear that he wasn't getting out that easily.
"But things between us have, a long time ago." I snapped at him.
His smile faded once again, but no sorrow took over me.
I stood up and headed towards the door. Sighing, I opened it for him, gesturing for him to leave.
He stood up and walked over to me, his eyebrows furrowed.
"Whats that on your back?" He asked me. It had been clear that he had seen my tattoo.
"Nothing you need to know about" I snapped once again.
He reached out to me, placing both hands on my shoulders as he tried to turn me around, but I hesitated and tried to get out of his grip.
"Let me go Andrew." I cried as I tried to brush his hands off of me.
He chuckled silently as he attemped to close the door.
"Get out!" I yelled at him, shoving him away from me.
"Wait, wait, wait" He spoke slowly, the alcohol making him close his eyes several times.
I stood in my place, defeated as I let him close the door to my apartment.
