-Sorry for not updating and for not having the cool effect on the title-

Andrea:
It has been a week since Michael and I have met. We have been seeing each other everyday, he would always pass by my house and check if I was okay. I would always thank him and he would end up staying for dinner with me.
We had gotten impossibly close over that one week, it was unbelievable. The day after my accident with my ex, Michael had taken me out for lunch in a wonderful Hawaiian restaurant. We laughed together as he would tell me things about him and I would share some embarrassing events that had occurred in my life.

It was now past lunch time and I was sitting on my balcony, sketching out the city on my notepad, when suddenly I heard three knocks on the door.
I got up and brushed my hair smoothly with my hands as I opened it, revealing a smiling Michael leaning against the wall outside my apartment door.
"Hello Andrea." He greeted me warmly as I opened the door wider to my apartment and allowed him in.
"Hey Michael, is everything alright?" I asked him as he came earlier than usual.
He nodded with a wide smile spread across his face which had me wondering what he wanted.
"Let me take you somewhere." He spoke slowly as he stood up straight.
I was a bit confused but happily accepted his offer and next thing I knew I was out the door with Michael.

Michael:

I looked straight ahead of me, the dark green trees made animal- like shadows appear on the road.
I looked to my right to take a glance at Andrea who was looking out of the window, her arms wrapped around her legs.

"Where are we going, Michael?" She asked as she turned to me, confusion washing over her face.

"Somewhere only I know" I smirked at her as I gripped the steering wheel harder and made a turn into a rocky road.

She sighed beside me and shook her head.
" I haven't learned to entirely trust you, Michael." She mumbled and I turned my head to face her.
" I thought We got closer..." I started off but she cut me off.
"Michael..." she spoke in a lower tone of voice as her eyes wandered to her hands that were fiddling in her lap.
" No I understand, its stupid of me to think you could open up to me all of a sudden. People aren't the same, I know. ill give you time." I told her with a reassuring smile before turning my attention back to the road.
She stayed silent as I saw her nod her head from the corner of my eye.
"But trust me on this, your going to like it here" I tell her and she mumbles a soft "okay".

Andrea:
When Michael finally parked the car my eyes were wandering everywhere. We were in an open field, but a field unlike any I ever saw before.
It had flowers of all colors and a small bench in the middle of them.
I turned my attention to Michael who was already staring at me with a smile.
"I come here all the time when I want to shut myself out from world" He told me as his eyes wandered my face, trying to figure out what I was thinking.
I parted my mouth slowly in an "O" shape as I spoke.
"wow, Ive never seen anything quite as amazing as this."
I paused as I looked over at Michael once again.
" Looks like something straight out of a painting." I told him as my eyes fluttered.

He nodded as he got out of the car. I watched him as he walked in front of it to reach my door and I smiled at him widely as he opened it for me.
I mumbled a thank you as I watched him close the door.

He took my hand in his and started walking towards the bench.
I kept a smile on my face as my eyes wandered over to his tattoo once again.
I then looked back at Michael who was staring straight ahead as we both walked over to the small bench, being cautious not to step on any flowers on our way there.
He motioned for me to sit down and I did as he instructed. I kept a smile on my face as I watched him sit down besides me.
We sat in silence for a while, just appreciating our surroundings and the low noise of birds chirping.

"you know, when I was a kid my grandad used to take me here all the time. He used to tell me that this was the bench he proposed to my grandmother and I would find that amazing and always place my hands above my heart." Michael spoke as he broke the silence. I looked over at him with a smile as I waited for him to continue.
" My dad would also take me here sometimes and tell me the wonderful story on how he proposed to my mother here as well." he chuckled as he looked to me with a smile on his face.
I looked over his shoulder, seeing an amazing sun set.
" Thats wonderful. Your family seems so cheerful and committed to relationships" I spoke warmly as I swung my feet back and forth over the bench.

"Yeah, they really were" He whispered loud enough for me to hear and I snapped my attention to him completely.
" Im so sorry to hear that." Was all I could make out as I watched him with wide eyes.
In the week me and Michael have been together we had opened up to each other, but never could I imagine that Michael would open up to me this much in such little time.
Sorrow took over my face and I scooted closer to him.
" Are you all by yourself here, Michael?" I asked him softly.
He turned his head to me, his soft eyes meeting mine and I was surprised when he pulled off a smile.
" Yeah, I'm a lost soul in this big city."
His words caught me off guard and I looked deeper into his eyes, trying to read what they were telling me.
" Im happy I found you, though. I haven't had such a great week since my..." He started saying but soon cut himself off on what ever he was going to say.
I just nodded my head and spoke.
" Me too, I'm really happy being here."

Silence then filled the air around us. It was a deafening silence, something I couldn't bare.
I wanted to know what Michael was going to say, but I shook my head quickly before I would ask questions I didn't want to. We just met some time ago, Ill just give him time.

"Its getting late, how about we head back and order some Chinese together or something?" Michael suddenly asked and I quickly agreed.

We both walked back to the car which was parked under a big oak tree.
I took a glance back at the small bench sitting in the middle of the field before stepping in the car and driving off with Michael.
