"Ya know you aren't to bad at this for a beginner~." Jeff says after you finish your kill.
"What can I say? I'm a fast learner."
You smirk and shrug walking past the forever smiling guy.
"Now come on I'm tired and wanna go home."
You way and Jeff follows you out the back to sneak your way to the woods.

You both walk the path in the woods its very calm and quiet aside from the occasional click of a cricket or hoot from an owl nearby.
"You really like the night woods huh?"
Jeff says turning to you with his head tilted.
"Yeah it peaceful unlike my past life it actually makes me feel free I'm finally not stuck in that god forsaken house anymore..."
You say loathing the thought of that family you were put with after your mothers death.
"Yeah now your stuck here with me forever sound fun to you?"
"Very."
You smirk at him eyes half lided catching him off guard.
"Flirty much? You actually like me or you just messin?"
He asks turning away looking at the path under his feet.
"Yeah your cool. I enjoy killing with you and you were like the first person in the mansion to wanna be my friend."
You admit smiling at him.
"No- I mean like- ugh never mind..."
Jeff sighs looking back to the grown listening to the crunch of leaves he steps on every once in a while.

You stop walking and stare at his back as he continues to walk until realizing your not next to him anymore at that he turns around giving you a "what gives" look.
"Why'd you stop? Didn't you want to go home?"
"I do its just I don't wanna go home knowing my best friend is keeping secrets."
You huff spinning around on your heal so now your back is facing him.
"What are you talking about come on lets just go..."
You didn't respond and he now fumbles for what to say now that he knows he's upset you.
"Look I know you said you hate when I lie or keep to much to myself but is this really nessisary right now? Its really nothing important (Y/N) lets just drop it okay?"

You still said nothing to him and wouldn't until he was telling truths to you like he should.
"(Y/N)..."
He say hesitating to put a hand on your shoulder.
"*Sigh* ok look I-I like you (Y/N) I just don't want to ruin the friendship by saying so cuz I know you don't feel that way..."
Jeff explains as his shoulders slump in defeat.
"And... How do you know I don't feel the same?"
"..."
"You don't do you?"
You ask turning to face him now.
"If you really like me the come here and prove it."
You demand crossing your arms.
Jeff stands silently for a second unsure what he should do before he come closer cupping you face in his hands and kissing you.
You accept the kiss feeling the warmth of his hands graze your skin.
Jeff pulls away letting you go unsure if he did the right thing at that moment but he was assured by you hugging him close that he did well.
"See what happens when ya stop over thinking things?"
"Yeah... ill try to loosen up more." Jeff sighs putting his chin atop your head

"I love you (Y/N)."

"Love you to Mr. Smiles."
