A Shocking Surprise

Chapter 8

Later that very same night, Pachirisu, Spark, and Pikachu slept curled up against Dawn's side. Spark was awoken from her slumber by a strange foreboding feeling pooling in the pit of her stomach.

"Pi Pika? (What in the name of Arcues is that?)" Spark said, looking around and sensing something, but not sure what, this woke up the other two but not Dawn. "Chu Pi Pika? (Do you sense that too, Pikachu?)"

"Pika Pi Pika. (Yeah, I sense something too, Sparky)" Pikachu said, looking around.

Spark blushed and looked down at her paws. Pika Pi Pikachu (Don't call me Sparky!)" Spark murmured with a small glare at her best friend and long-time-partner.

"Pa. (Same here, I can sense it too.) Pachirisu agreed.

"Pi Pikachu! Pi PinChu? Pika Ka Pip. (Hey, Pikachu, can you go wake Piplup? I still don't want to be near him)" Spark asked, causing Pikachu to head to do that while Spark and Pachirisu tried to wake Dawn.

"Pip? (What?)" Piplup asked before they were interrupted.

"Chupi!/Chipa! (Dawn!)" Spark and Pachirisu called, getting Pikachu and Piplup to look, only to see them latch onto Dawn's legs as she disappeared in a portal.

"Pika! (Come on!)" Pikachu said, grabbing Piplup and dragging him to the portal. "Pi chu Pikapi Pi! (I'm not losing Ash again!)

The two of them dove through just before it closed, leaving the others to see based on the security camera. When they did not reappear for six months.

Inside the darkness, both Pikachu and Piplup found an empty void and disappearing light from a shape to diluted to recognize.

They made their way through the void looking for Spark, Dawn, and Pachirisu and eventually made small talk. Well, that is until Piplup teased Pikachu about watching Spark, and if he had a crush on her, causing Pikachu to tackle Piplup, and the two of them fall through a whole they did not recognize, and land in a splash of mud, and were about to continue when they heard a growl, and looking around saw they had landed right in front of a huge Hippowdon, far larger then normal. And he was angry.

"Pi!/Pip! (Run!)" They both screamed at the top of their lungs before running away, as it chased them until they swam across a river to an island, (Piplup carried Pikachu) and rested.

"Pip Piplup Pip? (Hey, Pikachu, do you like Spark?)" Piplup asked the electric mouse yet again, earning himself an Iron Tail to the face and a small zap from a very under-powered Thunder.

"Pi Pi Pikachu! Pika Pika Pi Pi Pikachu. (Would you shut up already? I had enough of your teasing.)" Pikachu growled in a low tone, his cheeks sparking with electricity.

Meanwhile Dawn, Spark and Pachirisu were still unconscious but were awakened by something saying: "Wake up!"

The next morning Spark's family and the Jennies were waiting for Spark, Dawn, and the others to arrive, while Lilu started to make the antidote. When she returned they got worried that Spark and them weren't there especially since the antidote expires at sunset so they went looking finding that the bed was empty.

"Cha Char! Charizard Char. (She ran away with Ash and Pikachu) Charizard growled, believing that she wanted to keep Spark to herself as the others thought similarly until one of the Jennies noticed something,

"It looks like she left Buneary, Ambipom, and Mamoswine." Jenny said, frowning and narrowing her eyes in thought. "Why would she do that?"

They decided to check the security footage when they saw something suprising.

"It looked like someone was kidnapping a sleeping Dawn and Ash and Pachirisu latched onto to ankles, also going with them, while Pikachu dragged Piplup along to go after them." Professor Oak mused aloud, watching the camera footage as he spoke.

"But who could kidnap someone like that?" Lily asked, not getting an answer as none of them knew, though the Pokémon were not happy with whoever did it.
