"You should consider speaking less." She whispered, making his brow arch, "Really?"
"Nope."

She snuggled into her side pillow and hugged it tightly, staring at him as he watched her for a moment, thinking about something with a soft smile.
"What are you thinking?"
"Nothing."
Her brows furrowed, "You are thinking about something."
"Not really. Leave it."

After a beat of silence, she spoke, "You know, I used to have a cat before we gave him away to my cousin. I used to hug that cat every day before sleeping and showered it with kisses. He hated it so much but I loved to attack my cat with kisses."
She chuckled.

He listened to her with a smile and said, "Ah... I'm jealous of the cat."
"What do you mean?" She frowned as he said, "That little being doesn't know it's lived my dream while being ungrateful."

A soft gasp escaped her lips, "Shut up!"
"The kissing part, especially."
"Oh my god. I'll hang up!" She contained her grin. He giggled, "You're blushing..."
"I'm not."
"You are."

She huffed, not able to continue the conversation. Her gaze met his through the screen as she hid her face behind the pillow, laughing silently.
"Why are you hiding?" He laughed, trying to see her face.
"Shut up. I'm not showing you my face."
"Are you all red?"
"No. Shut up."

"Come on, let me see your face. I don't know the next time I'll see it."
"A few days later, you said."
"So you agree to meet up?"

"What should we do?" He asked as she said, "You pick."
"I don't really... oh wait, should we watch a movie? And walk around...?"
"Sure, and food." She smiled, peeking at the screen from the pillow and caught a glimpse of his excited smile.
He let out an exhilarated sigh, "I'll hug you tight when I see you."
"Don't say that." Her clutch on the pillow tightened as she asked, "What else will you do?"

"You keep telling me to stop talking and proceed asking me these." He said, as if in confusion himself.
"So? Answer me!" She said with a small smile as he hummed, "Maybe... I'll hold your hand the entire time. And..."

He paused, looking down as she asked, "And?"
"Secret."
"No! Tell me!"
"Nope."
"I'll hang up if you don't."

"Okay."
"What?!" She scowled as he grinned, "I'll tell you when the day comes, okay? Is there any movie you want to watch?"
"Nope, you can pick." She said, patiently watching him get up, "Alright."

"What are you doing?" She asked when his bare back came into her vision.
"The bedsheets are crinkled... I'm fixing it."
"Okay." She watched a tiny part of his back flexing. He plopped down, facing the camera and said, "Now I'm good."

She gulped, shaking her head out of the luscious thoughts that occupied her brain briefly. Her face scrunched up, and she saw a few notifications pop up at the top of her screen.

"Kabir, why do Atif, Ajay and Wahi text me every day saying you're an awesome guy? They say the same thing taking turns in different tones and vocabulary. Did you do something strange again?" Her question caught him off-guard as he let out a bewildered 'huh'.
"What are you talking about?" He interrogated, earning a confused shrug from her.

"They keep praising you. One day, Atif was saying Nur wasn't a good guy and I shouldn't associate with him. You're a way better choice than him and stuff..." She let out a small laugh as he sighed, facepalming himself.

"About that... they somehow got to know I had a crush on you and since then, they started doing strange things. I don't think they have anything better to do in life." He said in an embarrassed voice, making her gasp.
"Oh my god..."
