In the morning, I immediately noticed something different. Not just because I woke up to Jasmine laying on top of me, snoring on my head, but because I didn't have that terrible dream I always had.

"Jasmine!" I cried excitedly which resulted in her choking on her snore as she was startled awake.

"Wh- what?" She asked in sleepy confusion.

"You made my dream stay away!" I cried happily and nuzzled her.

Still confused about what was happening but loving the attention, Jasmine nuzzled me back. "What dream?" She asked and I instantly pulled away.

I couldn't meet her gaze as I said, "The one where I kill my sisters inside Mommy."

"Oh," she said sadly.

Then a playful smile spread across her lips. "Love Jasmine!" She cried and brought me in a squeezing hug. All the sadness that we felt a second ago seemed to be squeezed out of us by her hug.

"Jazy!" I cried, saying her nickname I came up for her.

A few seconds later, my door opened and Mommy walked in. We broke away to see what she wanted. She smiled. "Had a good night's sleep, girls?" She said. There was no trace of her anger from last night.

"Yes, Mommy," We both said.

I hugged Jasmine. "Jazy kept away my dream!" I told Mommy.

"She did, did she?" Mommy asked with a hint of surprise. She looked at Jasmine who just looked back sheepishly.

"Can Jazy sleep with Emi?" Jasmine asked innocently, giving me my own nickname. Although Em worked just fine. But it was only fair since I gave Jasmine a nickname.

Mommy chuckled a little. "I don't see why not?" She said.

"Yay!" Jasmine squealed with delight and gave me another squeezing hug. If only she would stop hugging me like that! But I let her hug me for as long as she wanted.

"Em, why don't you help with breakfast?" Mommy suggested.

"Okay Mommy," I agreed. But I couldn't get away from Jasmine so I said, "Hey, Jazy, want to see some magic?"

She gasped and let go of me. "Yes!" She cried excitedly. "Yes! Yes! Yes! Do now! Do now!"

I smiled. "We have to go into the kitchen first," I told her. Jasmine frowned but climbed off the bed with me and the three of us went into the kitchen.

When we made it to our living room/kitchen, I began to wave my arms in the air to make pots and pans and pieces of food fly in the air. I wanted to make all of our favorite breakfast foods. And as always, Jasmine watched with admiration. She even squealed with delight at one point.

"Jazy wish she could make things fly," Jasmine said when we sat down at the island table to eat.

"But Jazy," I said, as I was sitting next to her like I did every time we sat at the table. "You can turn into any animal you want, even other humans."

Mommy looked at me with disapproval. We both knew that Jasmine couldn't shapeshift into different animals like Mommy and I could. That was apparently something that only werewitch hybrids could do. But she didn't say anything for she knew that I was just trying to cheer Jasmine up.

Jasmine looked at me, oblivious to Mommy's disapproving look. "Not just wolf?" She asked.

"Not just wolf," I repeated.

She smiled. I could tell she was thinking about something. "Jazy can turn into the Prince and rule the kingdom!" She said happily.

I shrunk back a little in shame. Jasmine's happy look turned to confusion. "What wrong, Emi?" She asked.
