Dedication

I was shaking off the feeling of disbelief as I reminded myself to stay on track. We can't afford to forget this. I sighed and grabbed onto Alex 's shoulders once more, taking off after a couple of seconds. He seemed more relaxed this time but still frightened. I feel the wind swerve through the air, tackling my feathers and my face. The mountains in view stood high and vast, merely silhouettes. The air had a fragrance to it, calming me down. I flapped a bit, gaining control of my flight path.

My eyes darted back and forth as we continued onward, my wings aching. I grunt as I avoid a large and towering oak, bending my gethers and just missing the obsticale. "What are we doing again?" Alex asked, rolling his eyes during the process. I chuckle and stop silently. "Be patient." I say, half closing my eyes. All I see were the forestry that carefully lay ahead as I relaxed and calmly gathered my thoughts. I didn't know how to start a conversation, though I was hyper and all I just didn't know. I should know, though.

Yet, words circled inside my brain, impaling the ideas I previously had. I keep my head up, shivering at the words. They had been of what Blossom said, what I had said, the human I saw standing right there and had disappeared. It's all odd and added a certain detail to all this mess. I can't believe I had found someone after weeks, months, and what feels like centuries being by myself and only nature to stare at. Now, I can be happy and explain the pain I had endured with a being I understand.

Without thinking, I made a right turn and found another destroyed area, the grass yellow and dried up with a flowing pond and a tiny waterfall attached to it just next to a sliver rock. It seemed like a desperate place for a search. Of course, I stopped my flight and landed in this area. I dropped Alex on the ground and heard his body collide with the dirt with a thud. I gently rest my feet on the ground and rush over to the different sights. "Oh, look at this! The water is crustal clear! Yet, the grass looks uncared for. What a pity." I say, plunging my fingers into the cold pond.

Alex slowly followed, exiting the new surroundings, and sighed. "This place is just another plain and boring grassland. Who cares?" Alex screeched, crossing his arms and rolling his eyes in displeasure. "Whatever. You clearly don't appreciate this." I grunt, annoyed. I give him a side eye and continue forward. The scenery was delicate looking, so I was careful in hurting it. Humans these days, they always underestimate this Earth. It's too unique to be used as a man made museum. I can't believe that either.

"If we go down this open path, we may be lucky to find another deserted town. Maybe even some other good old friends? You never know what you're in for." I explain, chuckling. Why do I always get stuck with these unfortunate souls. Alex was tense as I slowly toughened my grip. I had suddenly received an ear-splitting headache. It surged throughout my head. It made me so uneasy, and I had to suck it up and push through this sudden pain.

The sky was damp, and the clouds gleamed heavily with rain, almost looking as it it were about crying. I felt dizzy, but I hadn't worried that much yet. I glimpsed around, locking eyes with the surrounding view of mountains and unique landscape. It looked so spectacular, the scenery astonishing in its own way. The thing is, the journey. What's the purpose of it? Why do we need to travel? Well, it's to find humanity, restore my place in life, and be crowned the best. It's easy to understand, but I need allies to allow me to grow.

We have landed, set up a safe place to stay at, and began to relax. Alex rested against a rock sharpening his meerley blunt weapons. I sat in the dust, staring up at the luscious tree canopy above. "We need food." Alex spits out. He concentrated grating the rock on top of the pointed sword. "Go get some. I don't know where food is." I say, grinning at my words. I sit into a comfortable position whilst my hands flopped on the dirty ground. "What? Why would I waste time that I could spare on getting food that I don't know where it lay? Don't depend on me." He explains.

"Oh well then. We can starve together." I laugh, scooping dirt into the palms of my hands. Roughly, I threw the dirt onto Alex, making him stare at me in disappointment. "What was that for?" He asked grumpily. "I don't know, I'm bored?" I say, chuckling. I watch him get up and plunge into the darkness of the forest, holding the sharpened sword firmly in his grasp. He stalked around the bushes, rustling the leaves and checking for food. Food like rabbit.

I rest still and easily, relaxing my breath and staying quiet. I await Alex's return, and in the meantime, I bring out my sketchbook to sketch inside of. I hadn't known what to draw for a while, so the first thing that came to my kind I put on the cleared page. I thought for a while before letting my hands do the rest. I gripped tightly onto my pencil before putting lines down on the page. One of my most passionate skills is drawing, being an artist for that matter. I drew carefully and precisely.

No matter the day, I'm always looking forward to drawing for a while, resting and guiding my focused hands across the empty page that's filled with my invisible imagination. I will forever enjoy the feeling of being such an artist. Especially when you have got the greatest idea to sketch. I never usually colour, and I can not. I don't have colourful pencils, only greyscaled. I use them until nothing is left, not a single part of the once-long pencil.
