Ever since sensei found me, I trained to become a ninja. I always wondered if my parents would someday need my rescue and realize their problem. Sensei taught me a lot of stuff, like stealth and all those other cool ninja stuff. Best of all, I finally get a full set of food.
One day I would never forget is the day I discovered my power. Sensei gave me a diamond shaped cloth they call a "kite". I looked and examined it curiously. Sensei told me you're supposed to fly it. However, he didn't finish his sentence and ran away to get his tea. I looked at it, not knowing that I'm supposed to hold onto the string, I threw it high up in the air. Surprisingly, the kite flew around uncontrollably. I gasped and raised both my arms, trying to bring it back. To my surprise, it did! I began controlling the kite. It felt good and I felt free. Wish I was that kite. Soon, sensei came back and was shocked to see my power. He told me I was an "elemental master of wind" and told me that I'm the green ninja.

I began training very seriously ever since I'm told I was the green ninja. I shouldn't have been so easily tricked- ugh. I was so into my training that I never really stopped. Sensei told me it was enough for the day, but I continued. Everything changed till the day sensei thought it was time to reveal the truth. I was so confident that I was the green ninja, but turns out I'm not. My smile dropped.

"I'm sorry. Destiny didn't choose you to be the green ninja."

"I'll train more, sensei!"

"No.. you can't defy destiny." Sensei turned around, putting the green gi back into the shelf. The fire inside me burst into flames.

"..Then I REFUSE to LISTEN! I AM THE GREEN NINJA! Y-You made me believe-!" I ripped out a door and ran away.

I left the monastery to the mountains. I wanted to prove destiny wrong. I thought I was invincible. I distracted a big creature and it chased me around, trying to eat me. Well, sensei randomly appeared and "rescued" me with a rope.

When we returned to the monastery, I told sensei that I would find his father's tomb to prove that I was worthy.

"Morro, there's no tomb. Only the spinjitzu master can find it-"

I didn't let him finish his sentence. I left the monastery. I told myself that I would never come back.
