·˚✎ ﹏ Sakura sighs as she opens yet another document.

Before anything major came up within the village and the news got out that a new Hokage had stepped into power, the pinkette wanted to make sure she was beyond prepared. So, she headed down to the heavily guarded library in the Hokage Tower, seeking a better understanding of what exactly a Hokage had to do.

She found out quite a lot, she must admit.

Such as the past village affairs, unknown and unshared information about the many shinobi wars and their many secrets, where hideouts and underground organizations led by ANBU were located, etc, etc.

What really bothered her though, was the fact that a gruesome organization known as Root had taken refuge under the supervision of Danzo, one of the many council members.

The documents, however, held little to no information. Just going into simple and unreviewed information and basics.

Getting an uneasy feeling, Sakura made a mental note to check that out later.

Groaning, she set the document in her hand down on the single desk in the library.

The really sad part about this process was that it took forever to read everything. Hell, she wasn't even half of half the way through the information in there. The library was huge.

"Hokage-San."

Sakura's attention partially shifts toward the sudden presence next to the desk. An ANBU.

She tilts her head toward them, still nervous about being constantly surveyed by two or more ANBU.

"You have guests. Shall I send them inside?" The masked nin asks, a stoic posture plastered on them.

Sakura's face remains blank mostly, her mouth widening ever so slightly as she sweatdrops.

Had the time come so suddenly?

Was she ready for her first encounter as the Godaime?

She decided mentally and physically- she wasn't, that fact was clear enough to her.

With a sigh, she stood up from the wooden chair. "No, have them wait in the lobby. I'll be in the main office as soon as I can." Sakura replies, receiving a nod from the nin right before they disappear in a puff of smoke.

Hastily walking over to the door with a bit of chakra to enhance her speed, Sakura nervously makes her way up the tower, toward the Hokage office.

With every step she takes, an invisible weight drops upon her back, as if trying to weigh her down.
