Quinton "Quinn" Evans, son of Robert and Daisy Evans, was born almost exactly a year after his sister, Lily Evans, on the 28th of January, 1961. When he was a baby, very odd things would happen every once in a while. His clothes would shrink down to the point Mr. Evans used them to make finger puppets, there was once a flood when Mrs. Evans left him alone in the bath with the water turned off, the toaster exploded. That mixed with his sister making flowers out of nowhere, it was clear something odd was going on, the problem was none could figure out how any of it was possible. Petunia, on the other hand, was acting like a completely normal baby.
As he got older, the odd happenings had started to fade away. The two parents could almost convince themselves it was just an odd part of growing up. The problem with that bit of gaslighting was that odd things were still happening around Lily, so they couldn't quite manage to convince themselves. Of course, Petunia was a perfectly normal child, with a rather smart memory .
Then, when Quinn was the ripe old age of eight years old, the incident occurred.
Then, in the summer of Lily's 11th birthday, a strict looking lady, in odd clothes and a pointy hat, who introduced herself as Minerva Mcgonagall, appeared along with a letter consisting of the fact that Lily, Quinn's sister, Lily Evans was a witch! Which, when he thought about it, made quite a lot of sense. Lily had done some odd things...
So, that school year, instead of going to regular school, Lily went off to clown college, and Quinn and Petunia thought that was it for the magic in the family, well at least Quinn did. He'd caught glances of the letters his twin wrote to Hogwarts, he was sixty percent sure they were asking to go to Hogwarts next year, since he'd seen the letter she wrote to Lily, and she was usually writing to Hogwarts every day, and her and Lily weren't that close. He, on the other hand, wasn't that worried about it, he was more worried about whether he'd have to stay back a year.
While he had no idea, certain other family members had an inkling that they would receive two letters next year.
Little did he know what was in store for him...
