Aly woke up alone, but her yelling drew the attention of Madam Pomfrey, who hissed at her to hush or she might wake the Potter boy.

"Aly! Oh thank god you're awake!" said the best voice in the world, "I'm so glad you're alive."

"Madi!" Aly cried out. She managed to sit up in bed, though her head spun with the effort. "Madi, you're here! You're alive! I'm alive!" She blinked rapidly. "Is Potter not alive?"

"Mr. Potter," Pomfrey said, "Has been through quite an ordeal. As have you, Miss. Klassen. And he has not yet woken, but he will." She didn't sound confident, but Aly had faith.

"I'll leave you two be," Pomfrey said. And then she left her with Madi, and Aly flung herself forward to hug her,

"What day is it?" Aly asked as they pulled away.

"It is the night," Madi informed her, "Of the sixth. You have been asleep since you were recovered last night. Unfortunately because Harry was absent tonight, we lost our match with Ravenclaw." Madi pouted. Classic Madi to think of sports right after a life or death situation.

"So, What happened with the stone and stuff? Who actually was it?"

Madi spent the next hour or so sitting on the edge of Aly's bed, explaining everything that happened while she was unconscious. Ron and Hermione had stayed back to take care of Aly, whilst Madi and Harry ventured further. Aly learned that it was actually Voldemort who was behind everything, and that he was on the back of Quirrels head, under his turban. Harry saved the stone and destroyed Voldemort once again.

Eventually, Madam Promfrey shooed Madi away so that Aly could get her rest and that she could visit her in the morning.

"Aly!"

Aly's breakfast of eggs and bacon was unceremoniously taken from her, when it was knocked from her hands by a hurtling Kim. She flung herself into Alys arms with a garbled shriek. Noia and Madi close behind her, happy to see her as well, with an awkwardly hovering Ron and Hermione over her sickbed with a hand raised in greeting. "Hey, uh, looks like the bacon stayed on the plate, mate." Ron picked it up and put it back on the table beside Aly, making a face.

"Doesn't look like the eggs survived Kim, though." Madi teased.

"Oh, Aly! We were so worried! Madi told us everything that happened!" Ron made a snorting noise and Hermione gave him a pointed look.

Noia also hugged Aly tightly after Kim finally backed off. All six of them talked and talked until the sun was high in the sky outside the hospital window, and Aly had to forcibly shoo them off. "As much as I would love to chat more, I'm actually super tired now,"

"Alright alright we'll leave you alone," pouted Madi.

Aly turned to Ron and Hermione, "Uh and thank you guys too, Granger, Weasley, for keeping me company along with them," she said awkwardly.

"You'd think," Granger sighed, giving her a judgmental look, "After we nearly all died together, even you would have to admit we'd crossed the threshold past which any normal civilized person would have begun to use each other's first names."

Aly groaned, rolling her eyes. "Alright, then. You can be Hermione. But just you."

"Hermione," she said again, "Will you leave the poor convalescing Slytherin in peace?"

"What about me?" said Ron crossly. "You're Aly to me now. And she's the only Granger at Hogwarts, but there's loads of Weasleys. There'll be my sister next year as well. Really doesn't make sense for you not to call me Ron —"

"No!" Madi answered for her, standing her ground.

Aly shrugged like she had no other choice. "Whatever Madi says goes, sorry!"
