Later, Sunset reigns over the land as birds fly over the forest. Keith comes to see Stats and Romelle looking over him with worry, but then regrets his decision as he grips his bandaged stomach in pain and looks up to the tree seeing the knife remained...he spotted something glistening in the grass by the tree.
"What do you think you're doing Keith!?" Romelle said quickly "We just finished bandaging your wounds! What if you open them up again!?"
"These aren't anything serious." Keith said, grunting. "Where did she get to?"
"Who are you talking about?" Romelle asked.
"She said her name was Hennya, that disgusting woman," Keith growled.
"Hennya?" Ulaz said, reappearing from the trees. "Are you sure about that name?"
Keith weakly gets up and looks up to the tree seeing that his knife remained but praying he was wrong, howerer, as he sees Shiro's sword sitting in the grass with the blade impaled in the ground.
"Where are Lance, Hunk and Pidge anyway?" Romelle asked, "They still haven't come back."
"That...witch," Keith hissed. "She took Shiro with her too."
"What?! Didn't Shiro return from searching for Pidge and then head to the shrine of lions?!" Romelle said, quickly.
"There's no way he's going home without running it past me first," Keith said, firmly.
"I don't believe my ears!" Romelle said. "You're supposed to be defending him! Can't you even do that properly with wounds!"
"Why'd you bother? These wounds aren't really that bad." Keith said, fixing his clothes.
"Keith, are you quite certain this daemon called herself Hannya." Ulaz asked again.
"Yeah, there's no mistake about it." Keith said. "Why? Do you know her?
"She's the only daughter of Izanami, an infamous daemon from the continent," Ulaz said, worriedly.
"I don't like the sound of this," Keith said.
"Indeed, 90 years ago a huge army from the continent began an attack. Daemon, led here by Izanami, came here to conquer the world."Ulaz said. "At that time, the blade of Marmora was still in the Galra empire to bring stability to Altea, but fortunately we were too late to realize, Izanami and Zarkon battled ferociously, calling forth thunder and winds and causing a terrible violent storm. Using the blades of destruction, the blade of marmora sealed her away, and thus as I understand, chased the foreign daemons back to the continent."
"I see, so tell me where she is." Keith said, before quickly rushing off into the forest.
"It might be possible that she might be at the tree of Ages." Ulaz said.
"Where?" Keith demanded.
"The forest of no return," Ulaz said.
"The forest of no return?" Keith asked.
Way Behind...
"Keith, you there? Wait!" Romelle said, before he left."Please don't leave me behind."
"Stats," Stats said as he flew after Keith.
In the forest of No Return, later in the dead of night at the tree of ages, a swarm of Butterflies return to their home within the tree. Deep in the depths of the tree, a voice calls out.
"Lady Hannya, how did you fare?" Rue asked.
"See for yourselves..." Hannya said, motioning to an altar made of vines where Shiro lay sleeping.
