Chapter 17

Valeriana's pov

"Are you forgetting something?" Valerico asked. He was referring to my keys. They were currently with the principal because they fell out of my pocket during the fight. She wouldn't let my brothers get my keys so I have to wait until I go back to school to get my car.

"Mm, no. I know how to hotwire a car," I state while looking back at them I smile. "I'm kidding," I say before holding a set of keys out. They were left on my dresser. "I don't know whose they are, but thank you," I say.

"Those are mine," Aurelio states. I raise an eyebrow.

"You want to give me a ride then?" I asked. Aurelio held his hand out. I toss the keys towards him.

"Where are you going?" Valerico asked. I shift my eyes to Valerico, Valentino and Matteo. Verena was sitting next to Valerico. She was eating skittles. Lucian sat in a chair. That's how you know those two are bestfriends with my brothers. They were always here. Barely went home.

"Miss Wells'... yep just got off the phone with her. She wants to spend the day with me." I lie. My brothers start laughing. I roll my eyes. "Ok I'm not going over there to hang with her. Just her dog," I say.

"She has a dog?" Matteo asked. I nod my head.

"Yeah. You wanna know why I know and you didn't... I'm her favorite. Yep, be jealous, brothers, Verena and Lucian," I mutter. Lucian's mouth dropped open. Nazario chuckles at us. "Now come on let's go, Wiggles is waiting!" I shout at Aurelio.

"Keep yelling and you can find your own way over there," Aurelio says. My mouth dropped open.

"What, no you have to take me," I say. He raised an eyebrow.

"Why me?" He asked.

"We are busy and Nazario and Tino have to help us," Matteo says. Santino and Nazario look at the boys with narrowed eyes.

"Come on, let's go," I say, dragging Aurelio towards the front door. He walks out and over to the car.

"Laurelio!" Valerico, Valentino, Matteo and I shout. Verena and Lucian laugh.

"What?" Nazario asked.

"They're setting up Aurelio with the teacher," Lucian says. Nazario and Santino chuckle while nodding.

"Don't let him find out, he'll stop it before it can progress," Zario says.

"How long do you think I can force him to stay and bond with Miss Wells before he says we have to go?" I asked.

"An hour at the most," they all say.

"I'll try for three!" I shout before rushing out the door. I jump into the car and Aurelio drives away.

When we pull up to the house I rush to the door and knock. Miss Wells opens the door. She smiles when she sees me.

"How have you been, Valeriana? Your brothers kept me updated on you. You had them worried," Miss Wells asked. I give her a small smile.

"I showered and ate today," I shrug. Miss Wells nods her head. "I also talked with Aurelio and Matteo, but I'm sure the rest of my brothers know everything by now," I say.

"You're letting them in, that's good," Miss Wells says.

"Valeriana, when do you want to be picked up!?" Aurelio asked. He was outside of his car leaning on the door.

"Can he stay? I don't want him to leave," I say. Miss Wells smiles before she hides it. She nods her head. I walk over to Aurelio. "She says you can stay. I don't have my phone on me so I can't get a hold of you when I'm done. Please stay," I pleaded. Aurelio looks at me. I stick my bottom lip out. Aurelio sighs before reaching into the car and turning it off before shutting his door.

"You can put that lip away, Valer," he says before poking my bottom lip to push it back so it wasn't sticking out anymore. I smile at him before rushing over to Miss Wells.

"Can I take Wiggles now?" I asked. Wiggles appears behind Miss Wells when he hears his name. He was a doberman pinscher. His body was wiggling. "He does wiggle!" I say excitedly. Miss Wells hooked the leach onto his collar before handing it to me. Wiggles walks out of the house. He was sniffing my brother and I. I let him sniff my hand before I pet his head. "Come on boy, let's go for a walk," I say. Wiggles ears perk up.

"I just made tea if you want to come in for some," Miss Wells says to Aurelio. He looks at me but I started to walk away with Wiggles. A smirk on my face.

"Stay safe and out of trouble, Valer!" Aurelio shouts at me. I turn around with a smile.

"I will, prometto," I say before walking away. Wiggles and I walk down the sidewalk. He happily trotted along with me. He sniffed around as we walked. We walked around until we got to a park. I pull my phone out and facetime Valerico. He answers immediately. I was sitting on the grass. Wiggles was sniffing the ground around behind me.

"I thought you were going to Miss Wells' place?" He asked.

"I did, I told you I was there for her dog... Wiggles!" I called out. Wiggles runs over to me. He put his snout against my face before he nudged me with his snout before doing it again. I laugh while shoving his face away and petting him. He sat next to me. My arm around him as he looked around at the people around us. "I left Aurelio with the teacher. She invited him in for tea. How great is that?" I asked.

"After all this work they better fall for each other," Valentino says.

"What do you mean by all this work? This isn't the first time?" Zario asked, his head popping over my brothers' shoulders. Verena snorted.

"No, Valeriana has a whole master plan that consisted of causing a distraction so the boys could fuck with her car but in order for the guys to not get caught Valer got the girl she fought the other day to hit her then she causing a bigger fight with like thirty other girls so the principal got involved. When she showed up we went off so Valer could delete the footage of all of it then we snuck back in to get detention because earlier in the day Valer saw that Miss Wells was watching over detention. So we got detention then when it was time to leave Miss Wells' car wouldn't start. Valer got her to catch a ride with her but then Valerico called and had a so-called emergency which caused a pit stop here. Aurelio was home so then she got him to take her home," Verena explained. Zario's eyes widened.

"Tino! Never piss off Valeriana. I'm sure she can do a better job at hiding our bodies than our brothers!" Zario shouts, causing everyone to laugh.

"Anyways. I just called to let you know it was working so far and to rub Wiggles in your face. Bye!" I say before hanging up. Wiggles and I run around and play.
