The next day, I payed Jin a visit again. Facing his door, I knocked on it firmly, waiting for the boy I love to open the door.

Soon he opened the door wide, greeting me with a sweet smile that made me melt inside. I gladly returned the gesture before I stepped inside.

But I could both feel and see that something was different. The colors of the pictures on the walls were slowly fading away. Also, Jin's aura emanated a kind of purity I haven't seen before at him. Those small signs were enough for me to understand what's happening.

He was becoming an angel.

His sudden hug woke me up from my thoughts. Confused about what should I do, I hesitantly returned his hug.

After pulling away, he looked into my eyes lovingly before whispering.
"I missed you"

I smiled hearing his words. Gosh, what is this man doing to me?
"I missed you too, Jin. But let's wait until for your conversion and pull these little lovely things away for now."

I expected him to be upset about this, but instead, he was nodding in understanding giving me a comforting smile.
"It's okay. I understand. I just can't wait until I can say that you, Kim Jisoo, are my lover." I blushed. You can call me pathetic and easygoing but never in my life and afterlife have I received such kind of love ever.

Remembering why have I came here in the first place, I spoke
"Oh Jin. I was thinking that we should go for a walk around the kingdom. You were here for a while yet you didn't have the chance to see anything of this beautiful place."

"That sounds nice. Let's go." he said. I was surprised how eager he wad to see the kingdom. But I wasn't complaining. I loved seeing souls who are actually interested in this place.

Believe or not, but although here doesn't exist malice, there are still souls who tend to overreact and become a little arrogant at some point. Just a little. I'm glad that with the time, they learned how to control those emotional issues.

As we walked around the kingdom, we passed by so many incredible things. For example, there was an enormous fountain, the base of which was made of marble as white as the clouds we were walking on. Its water took on more and more splendid forms, soon realizing that the waters were showing us a story.

We passed by some stands selling some accessories, clothes and so on. They were gorgeous, making me think about how much they cost. But to my amazement they were free. In my world, these things would have cost millions.

I also saw how a few couples and normal souls stood in line for something that was not too clear to me. Looking more closely, I realized that an old soul was making portraits portraits of them that looked splendid. The texture and manner of painting of that person was really impressive. It was clear that he was a professional. I could see this even from distance, considering I went to art college a few years ago. Since then I'm still painting although my job was in no way connected with painting. Anyways, I was painting.

"You want to have a portrait of us or do you wanna make one of me? It's not clear to me which one would you prefer the most." suddenly Jisoo spoke.

How did she know that I wanted to do both?
Thinking deeply about what I'd prefer to do the most. After some time, I spoke
"I think painting your face would be perfect."

We made our way to the painter who luckily was cleaning his utensils. I took a last glance at Jisoo, to gather my courage before talking.
"Excuse me, sir?" he looked up at me. His eyes made my worries disappear but made them increase at the same time.

He looked exactly like..
"Dad?" I said barely above a whisper.

"Jin, son? Is that you?" at this point, I couldn't help but let the tears run down my cheeks, nodding as a gesture that it's actually me.

He stood up hugging me tightly and I gladly returned it. After a while, we pulled away.

"Jin, what happened to you? Why are you here? You were to young to die." he said his voice cracking slightly.

"Car accident." I simply said.

"How have you been? I heard that you were very successful back in that world." he said looking at Jisoo.

"Oh dad, she's Jisoo. She was my Guardian Angel." I said placing a hand on Jisoo's back firmly.

"Jin, I know." my father said.
"Long time no see, Ms. Jisoo." he added bowing slightly to Jisoo, she following his action.

After I asked my father if I could paint a portrait of Jisoo, he istantly agreed. I was careful with my father's belongings while painting. After a long time, I finished and the painting disappeared.

I looked at my father in confusion.
"Don't worry, son. It was just send to your house. It's probably already hanging on the wall.

We talked a little bit more before bidding our farewells. I and Jisoo started walking again until we reached the palace.

It was enormous, as much as a whole city I could say. It was whiter than milk. Its towers ended in pointed roofs. The entrance was made of gold and the vault in the middle, which could still be seen from the outside, was made of multicolored glass.

"Come on. I'll introduce you to my sister and her boyfriend. Don't worry, they're literally sweethearts." Jisoo said, giving me a sweet smile which I gladly returned.

But as I made my way to the entrance of the palace, an unbearable pain strucked my upper back.

I fell onto the ground, groaning in pain. Soon I felt like I was picked up but my consciousness was almost gone.
