The morning was absolutely breathtaking. The soft rays of sunlight filtered through the curtains, gently waking me from my slumber. As I stretched and yawned, a sense of excitement filled the air. Suddenly, my phone rings, snapping me back to reality.I glanced at the caller ID and saw that it was Miya.Miya is my BFF in college. We've been inseparable since day one! she and I have the same vibe, maybe that's why we're inseparable!
"Good morning, Miya!" I exclaimed as I rose from my bed."Rise and shine, sleepyhead!" she said with a playful giggle."Why are you so happy today?" I asked her, curious to know the reason behind her joy."Hey, did you forget that our awesome internship is just around the corner? Aren't you super pumped about it?" she exclaimed through her phone with excitement."Ha! How could I possibly forget about it? I'm stoked for our upcoming internship too!" I replied with a chuckle.
"Are you ready to go to college? I'll pick you up in 30 minutes," she asked me excitedly. It's going to be a fun day! she usually picks me up from home to go to college because she's got the driving skills covered, and I'm just here enjoying the ride! "Awesome, see you in 30 minutes" I said as I hung up the phone.
I finished my refreshing shower and slipped into a full-sleeve crop top with cherry designs, paired with a stylish denim skirt. After drying my hair, I let it cascade down my back,To complete my look, I applied a swipe of lipgloss to my lips.Beaming at my reflection in the mirror, I grabbed my backpack and headed downstairs.

Ah, the familiar morning view! Mom bustling in the kitchen, making something delicious, while dad enjoys his newspaper. The delicious aroma led me straight to my mom in the kitchen. I couldn't resist sneaking a taste of what she was cooking! "Pancakes!" I exclaimed with excitement as I embraced my mom tightly. With a kiss on my forehead, she directed me to take a seat at the table. I happily followed her instructions and settled in.
Oh, I couldn't resist! As soon as she placed the pancakes in front of me, I devoured them in record time. They were just too delicious to savor slowly! "Eat slowly, they won't vanish!" Dad chimed in as he got up and sat beside me. "When is your internship starting? Dad asked me with a curious expression ,"I'm not sure about all the details, Dad. The teacher will give us more information today. But she did mention that it starts this week!" I replied, taking a sip of water. "I hope you have an amazing time during your internship and create a brilliant future for yourself, honey!" Dad said with a beaming smile.I nodded back to him, assuring him that everything would be okay. Then, I said my goodbyes to them.
I turned towards the sound of the car outside and instantly knew it was Miya. Excitedly, I dashed outside to meet her! To my surprise, she is also wearing a skirt and crop top. It's a rare occasion when we unintentionally match our outfits.

I hopped in the car as soon as she arrived. "Drive slowly, Miya," my mom said. "Sure thing, Mom," Miya replied with a chuckle. We both call each other's parents "mom" and "dad."
