When we finally get home from work, I fall on the couch face down.
"Ugh, I'm so tired." I say in the couch.
"What'd you say? All I heard was 'Ugh, mm smo mimered'." Ross said chuckling. I sat my head up.
"I'm so tired! Jessica kept falling and I had to keep lifting her up. Ballet isn't as easy as it looks. Plus, I have to work on ten new songs, which have to be done in a month. On top of that, I have to be in the movie Scream 5." I say exhaustedly. Ross walks over to me and lifts me bridal style. He sits down on the couch with me in his lap. He stares into my eyes.
"You know Emily has your eyes?" He whispers. I smile.
"Her greenish has faded away. Now their crystal blue." I say leaning in. As out lips touched, I could feel him smile in the kiss. I pulled away slowly.
"I love you," Ross says leaning his head against mine.
"I love you more," I bite my lip, smiling.
"Not possible." He whispers in my ear. I yawn and rub my eyes. I've been really tired lately, ever since Emily's been kidnapped. July 4th kind of sucked. I mean, it wasn't that bad but you know.
"Ross, will you help me with my new songs?" I asked tiredly. I could feel him lift me up and walk into our bedroom.
I was technically already cozy in my jogging pants and my tee. A few seconds after he laid me down on the bed, he joined me. He pulled me closer to him. "Rossy! You didn't answer my question!" I whine."What is it baby?" He asked tiredly.
"Will you help me with my songs?" I ask.
"Mhm," He muffled tiredly.
"Promise?" I smiled, even though my eyes were closed.
"Mhm," Ross muffled. Right away he started to snore quietly. I continue to smile until I joined Ross in sleep.
I woke up to my phone ringing. I groaned as I tried to reach for it. I finally was able to grab it and answer the call. I put it to my ear.
"Yeah?" I ask tiredly.
"Dove, Rydel's having the baby!" I heard Stormie scream through the phone. I gasp.
"What? I thought she was only six months!" I say confused.
"She is but she's delivering early." Stormie says excitedly.
"What time is it?" I ask. There was silence for a second.
"2:37 A.M." Stormie announced. I nodded.
"What hospital?" I sit up and yawn.
"Uh, I think California's St. hospital," Stormie says urgently. "hurry! Rydel's gonna give birth soon!" And just like that, the call ended. I rubbed my eyes and sighed. I turned to my side and shook Ross' arm.
"Ross, come on. Get up." I shake his arm some more. "Ross." I shake him hard. "Ross." I then let go and groan. I look at his parted lips. I lightly push mine onto his and allow the kiss to be passionate. Not a moment later Ross instantly kisses back. After awhile, we pull back.
"What time is it?" Ross asked.
"I believe it's time for Rydel to have her baby." I smile widely. Ross' eyes widen. I quickly hop off the bed and throw on a lace shirt. I go in Ross' closet and toss him a shirt. He puts it on and stands up. "Come on. We gotta go. Rydel is giving birth soon." I say as I grab Ross' hand. We practically run out the door and into the car. I decided I'm driving since I'm more awake that he is. I drive as quickly as I can to the hospital. When we arrive, I find Ross asleep. I slap his arm and he snaps his eyes open. I stared at him.
