The cops bust the door down.They came and pulled Jack and Mack back.They put their hands behind their backs and cuffed them.They untied Ross.I got up and ran into his arms.I started to cry.
"Shhh shhh it's ok." Ross said stroking my hair gently.I looked up at him.He smiled.I could still see the blood when he smiled.
"That is so unattractive." I said laughing.He laughed,too.I wiped my tears.Then I heard footsteps.Ran in was the The Lynch family,my mom,and Bridgit.
"Oh Dove!I was so worried!" My mom said.She ran over to me and gave me a big hug.She pulled back.
"Do you have any scratches or bruises?" She asked."Do you have little air?Can you-"
"Mom I'm ok." I said laughing.That's what mom's do I guess.
"Ok.Ross,are you ok?" She asked.
"Yeah I'm ok." He said.
"No your not.Your bleeding." She said.
"Mom the ambulance are on their way." I said."Besides,he's a tough guy."
"Well ok." She said.I looked over and saw Stormie and Mark.They ran over and gave me and Ross a real big hug.
"I'm so glad your safe." Stormie said crying.
"Yeah we were really worried." Mark said.We pulled back.I saw Delly and Bridgit.
"Ross!Dove!" Delly yelled.She ran over and gave us a hug.
"Mom told me everything while I was shopping." She told us."Are you okay?"
"Yeah we're fine." Ross said.Bridgit came over and gave me a hug.
"I was afraid I'd lose you." She said crying.
"But you didn't." I said looking at her.We hugged again.We pulled back.
"Ross,does it make you curious that maybe Emily might be here?" I said with my eyes widened.His eyes widened,too.He ran over to the cops.They started to search the house.They come back 5 minutes later.
"Sorry.We didn't find her.We searched everywhere." The police man said.I started to cry again.Bridgit pulled me into a hug.
"We are one of a kind.We will always remember.We will always keep it in mind-" Bridgit started singing.
"So we will always stick together.Forever." I joined in.I wiped my tears.
"Thanks.I needed that." I said.
"Anytime" Bridgit said.After the ambulance helped me and Ross,we all headed out.I looked at Jack.He gave me a glare that was saying,"This isn't over." I looked away and continued on.Me and Ross arrived at the house a few minutes later.
"Me and Dove are gonna stay alone." Ross said.
"You sure?" Stormie asked.
"Yes" I said.We said our goodbyes and walked in the house.I sat on the couch.Ross took a seat next to me too.
"I was so scared when there was no note and when you didn't answer your phone." I said my voice shaking.
"When you asked how was I contacting you,it was the house phone.Jack was gone to get something.Mack took the phone before I could finish." He said.
"Oh" I said.Ross lifted my head up.He smiled.I smiled,too.He put his lips on mine.I went with the flow.He lifted me up and carried me in the room.
-Next morning-
I turned over to face Ross.He gave a smile.
"Hey baby." He said.
"Hey Rossey." I said.I threw the covers off of me and took the robe.I put it on.
"Aww" Ross said.
"Did you like what you seen?" I asked.
"Yes" He said.
"Shame" I tightened the rope and headed downstairs.I made some coffee and went in the living room.Ross came and sat next to me.
"Only if we could enjoy this with Emily." I said.
