The first one I'm gonna talk to is Mia.They had her in cuffs.
"Hello Mia." I said with irritation in my voice.
"Hello Dove.How's your daughter?" Mia said with a smirk.My eyes got teary and my fist clenched.I wanted to punch her in her jaw.Ross grabbed my shoulders.
"Calm down." He said.He gave a glare at Mia.
"Where is she?" I asked.Tears started running my eyes.I was still angry though.
"I would tell you," She said with a smirk."But you have to do something in return." I looked at Ross.He gave a blank look.I guess it was my decision.
"What kinda favor?" I asked.
"If you don't press charges,I will let you know where Emily is." She said whispering.I thought for a moment.This wasn't about me,it was about Emily.
"It's a deal." I said.
"Swear it." She said.
"I swear." I said.She smiled.
"She is at my boyfriend's house.422 Jackson Lane,55109." She said.
"Thank you.I won't press charges." I said getting up.I walked out and Ross followed.
"Would you like to speak to-" The officer started.
"No thank you.Thank you for your time." I said cutting him off.He nodded and took Mia.I hopped in the car.
"422 Jackson Lane." I thought to myself.I started driving until I got to Jackson Lane.
"405,415,420,422!" I said.I pulled over.I hopped out the car.Ross got out,too.
"Stay in the car.Trust me on this." I said to Ross.
"Are you certain?" Ross asked.I nodded and walked away.He got in the car.I stepped on the porch.I was shaking and I was outta breath.I breathed in.I knocked.
"Yo,who is it?" A man yelled.
"My name is Dove.Mia sent me over here." I said through the door.The door opened.
"What for?" The man asked.He was bald,thick,had a lot of tattoos on his arm,and seemed to drink alot.
"For a little girl named Emily." I said.He nodded and let me in.I was ready to get my Emily back.
