UGGGGGGGGHHHHHH. why couldn't my mom be one of those laid back, do whatever you want moms.

"Mom, I don't wanna talk. Please can I just go to bed?" I looked over at the wall clock to see that it was 12:31. Dangggggggggggggg. I was gone longer than I thought.

"You want to go to bed?!?! I don't think so missy, explain yourself."

Great. Now I had to come up with an alibi! Lets see here...think....think....

"Well?" She asked.

"Ok, so I was walking home, and I wanted to take a shortcut."

"Mmhhmmmm."

"And I was walking through an alley, when I slipped on a banana peel."

"Oh really. A banana peel?"

"Cross my heart. Then I became unconcious. When I woke up, it was very late, so I walked home."

"So that's your story? You know what, lets just forget it. It's late and I don't like when people lie to me." She started walking away.

"Moommmmmmmm! I'm sorry i jus-"

She just kept walking up the stairs. Ugggh. I wish I could tell her the truth, but how can I? She'll send me to a mental hospital.

Whatever, I thought. I trudged upstairs, not even bothering to change into my pajamas. The moment I pulled my covers over me, I was asleep.
