Everything went on as normal, well thats the way it seemed on the outside. On the inside, my brain was screaming for answers. How did this happen?!? What's wrong with you?!? I felt like any moment I would wake up and it would all be a dream, but I never did.

"Bella, what is with you lately?" My friend Lily shouted into my ear.

"Hey, just because I'm not talking doesn't mean I'm deaf!"

"I'm sorry, it's just.....you've been really distant in the last couple of weeks. Is there anything I need to know about?" She looked concerned.

"No. Nothing at all. I've just been tired. You know, homework and stuff." I had been lying much to often lately.

"If that's all it is, great. Now, the good news. We're getting new uniforms for cheerleading! Im so psyched!" She burst out, looking absolutely blissful.

I faked a smile, and let her ramble all the way to our next class about how we are going to win the competition this year ALL because of the new uniforms. Honestly, it was painful to listen to. I couldn't beleive I used to talk about cheerleading like that. Ever since....the incident.....cheerleading became unimportant. It was so unecessary with all the drama going on, that I wondered if I should quit or not. Probably not though, because Lily would be angry at me, and even though Lily is only 5'1, when she gets angry you do NOT want to be around her.

Into science I go, as I pushed into the classroom. I didn't like science. At all. Something about the smell of the room, the teacher, and the material just made me hate it.

"Okay class I have interesting news for you, we are going on a fieldtrip!" Mr. Gilbert yelled to the class. He was a mess with his mismatched clothes, his glasses from the 80's, and his overgrown mullet.

"We're starting on a new unit. This fieltrip is going to be a fieldtrip the the Forest Ridge cemetary! We will be comparing lifespans. Remember bring the permission slip as soon as you can. This field trip worksheet is going to be a pretty substantial part of your grade."

You see now? THIS is why I didn't like science.
