We hop the counter and reach them by the time they're off the escalator.

"Eleven!" I yell out. Mike has her arm over his shoulder, she's having trouble walking. "El, what happened?"

I move to my sister, examining her.

"You flung that thing like a hot wheel!" Dustin says giddily.

I wrap my arms around my sister and Mike.

"Are you all okay?" I ask again.

"Cass, ease up. They just got here," Billy tells me as I pull away from the kids. I hug each and every one of them, including Jonathan and Nancy.

Lucus and Erica start to argue.

"Yeah. It's our fault she's here," Steve says, hands on his hips.

"She's like you?" Robin asks, referring to El.

"Yep. They're both super powered weirdos," Billy says, ruffling El's hair gently.

"Im sorry who are you?" Nancy asks Robin. Her voice is filled with a hateful tone but I'm sure she's just stressed and worried.

"I'm Robin. I work with Steve," Robin tells Nancy.

"She's cracked the super secret Russian code," Dustin says.

"Yeah, which is how we found out about the Russians," Steve adds on.

"Russians? Wait, what Russians?" Jonathon asks.

"The Russians," Billy answers, gesturing to the men on the ground.

"Those were Russians?" Max asks in disbelief.

"Some of them," Erica says.

"What is even going on?" Lucus asks, throwing his hands out.

"Didn't you hear our code red?" Dustin asks.

"Yeah," Mike answers. "And I couldn't understand what you were saying."

"The stupid low battery," Dustin mutters to himself.

"How many times do I have to tell you about the low battery!" Steve starts to get mad, like a mom.

"Well, everything worked out, didn't it?" Dustin asks rhetorically.

"Worked out? We almost died!" Erica yells at Dustin.

"Yeah but we didn't, did we?" Dustin sasses.

"It was pretty damn close," I say, crossing my arms over my chest.

"Okay, Russians?" Lucas continues, stuck on the fact that we encountered the foreigners. "As in they're working for the Russian government?"

I turn around to see El. She's breathing heavily. She looks sick. Then she falls.

"El!" I shout, rushing to her side.

There's blood under her nose.

"What's wrong?" Billy asks, from the other side of her. We're both on the ground beside her.
