Waves of happiness crashed over me all day as I thought of the kiss in the washroom that morning. I could barely focus on my schoolwork and ended up doodling hearts all over my papers and textbooks as I remembered the way her hands neatly wrapped around my hips. Today, school couldn't go by fast enough. I watched the clock for ages instead of paying attention, waiting for the moment I could rush out of the class and into the clubroom.

Once the bell finally rung, I ran through the halls faster than a gazelle. All I could think about was Yuri. Yuri's face, Yuri's kiss, Yuri's curves...oh jeez, we weren't even officially dating yet! Was I allowed to think of her that way?

I opened the door with more force than anything I've done before. Yuri looked up from her book and smiled. "Nice to see you here, Natsuki! Monika isn't here yet, we have some time to ourselves." She winked and patted the seat next to her.

"Well then, what should we do?" I slid into it, carefully placing my bag down on the floor.

Yuri smiled. "Why not what we did this morning? I couldn't wait to see you after that, you know."

My gaze dropped to the floor and my cheeks began to burn. She carefully lifted my chin between three fingers and-

"I'm back~! And I brought a guest with me!"

Monika pushed open the clubroom door to reveal her and a tall boy with brown fluffy hair. Yuri immediately let go of my face. "Eh? A...a guest?"

I stood up quickly, shooting Monika a death glare. "Seriously? You brought a boy? Way to kill the atmosphere..."

Monika crossed her arms. "Don't be mean, Natsuki...but anyway, welcome to the club, Ive!"

Ive blushed furiously, completely speechless. I took this as an opportunity to embarrass him and Monika in one shot. "So, let me guess...you're Monika's boyfriend, right?"

Yuri suppressed a giggle. Ive spluttered. "Wha-- No, I'm not!"

Hey! I know you already know what happens here, since it's already in the original game. I cut out this part to save time. Ahaha, sorry~! Let's just skip ahead to the good bit, I know that's what you came here looking for anyway~ Enjoy the story! -Monika <3

"Okay, everyone!" Monika said. "I think with that, we can officially end today's meeting on a good note. Everyone remember tonight's assignment. Write a poem to bring to the next meeting, so we can all share!" She looked over to Ive once more. "Ive, I look forward to seeing how you express yourself. Ehehe~"

"Y-Yeah..." Ive began picking up his bag as Yuri went over to clean up the tea set. I walked over to her and began to help.

"Hey...thanks for sticking up for me." I picked up a cup and handed it to her.

"Of course. That's what girlfriends are supposed to do, right?" She took the cup and started to lean in to give me a kiss on the head, but then remembered Ive was there to see us. Neither of us knew if he was homophobic. Instead, she just winked, which left me just as flustered.

"Girlfriends? Are we girlfriends now?" My heart fluttered inside my chest.

Yuri's smile grew wider. "If that's what you want, that's what we can be."

My face heated and I felt myself grinning from ear to ear. "Yes, that's exactly what I want! I love you so much, Yuri."

"I love you too, Nat." She gave me a long hug.

We finished cleaning up and said goodbye to Monika and Ive before heading out. As we walked down the hall, I felt Yuri intertwine her fingers with mine. My heart skipped a beat as I looked up and her eyes met mine. This was really happening? I had a girlfriend? The happiness inside me was almost too much to bear.

As we stepped outside, the sun was beginning to set, casting a warm orange glow over everything. Yuri leaned in close to me and whispered in my ear, "Do you want to go out for boba to celebrate?"

I turned to face her, grinning from ear to ear. "Yes, yes, yes!"

She laughed and held my hand as we walked to the Boba Bear. The entire time, I felt like I was on cloud nine. We sat down at a table and she ordered us both tea with our favorite bobas.

"I still can't believe you like that garbage," I scoffed. "They taste like vomit!"

"Tapioca pearls are plain," she retorted.

As we drank, we talked about everything, from school to our hobbies to our families. And when we were finished, we walked back home, hand in hand, the moon and stars shining down on us. As we reached my doorstep, she leaned in for a goodnight kiss. I felt my legs turn to jelly and my heart race as our lips touched. It was an electric feeling, one that I never wanted to end.

I watched her disappear down the street, waves of happiness crashing over me once again. This had been the best day of my life. And I knew that with Yuri by my side, there would be many more to come.

I walked inside the house, my heart soaring. I couldn't stop smiling. It was late, and I was able to pass by Papa, passed out on the couch, bottle in hand. I sighed to myself, knowing he didn't miss me in the slightest. But that didn't matter right now.

I sat down to write my poem, reflecting on the days past. I thought about Yuri, and how brilliant and smart she was. She always drew the attention of all the boys in our classes, and even Ive was not immune. Maybe I was getting a bit jealous. She seemed pretty nice to him in front of me, and a little more aggressive towards me. Maybe she was just trying to prove we weren't a couple.

I began to write the first line. "Eagles Can Fly..."
