A Promise Made Long Ago

Two weeks had past since the incident. Boashan had gone back to the mountain after making sure that her grandson was fine. Lan Zhan had not left Wei Ying side for one moment. Even though Jin Zixun was not there anymore Wei Ying had decided not to join the classes anymore which in turn means that A-Sang and Lan Zhan were also not attending it any further. The three spent most of their time in the bunny field away from the eyes of the other disciples and their stares and whispers. Wei Ying had slowly became more comfortable in his skin and abilities. With the help of his family and friend he worked through what had happened and he slowly became the young man who smiles and laughs again that really made his family to starts to breathe a little better. Lan Zhan and Huaisang would take him down to Caiyi Town just to cheer him up and of course the two would indulge in some emperors smile to lighten the mood and just have a good time to which Lan Zhan did not find any fault in. They did these things mostly to stay clear of the Jiang sect heir and Wang Fen because the two omegas had not let go in their quest to gain the attention of the second jade still disregarding the fact that he is already betrothal. Being fed up with their advances and unwanted remarks Wei Ying decided that enough is enough. He will not run away anymore. He will not hide anymore. If they cannot respect the fact that Lan Zhan was already taken then he will do something about it. So one day when all of the disciples had a well deserved break from the lectures. Wei Ying was in his residence thinking of ways to put the two annoying omegas once and for all in their when he heard a knock on the door. He walked over and slides it opened. "A-Sang what are you doing here?". "Am i not allowed to spend time with my friend". He asked with a pout as Wei Ying stood to the side and he walked inside. " I didn't mean it like that?". Wei Ying said as he slides the door close and walked over to the low table and sat motioning for A-Sang to take a seat. A-Sang sat down as Wei Ying prepared a pot of tea for the two of them. " So where is Lan Wanji. The two of you are usually joined at the hip". He asked as he looks at Wei Ying. " In the library pavilion. Rewriting some old scripts. Boring stuff you know". Wei Ying told him. " I see. So what got you so worked up. Don't tell me it's that two that's still trying to gain your alphas attention". A-Sang asked innocently as Wei Ying poured them both a cup of tea. "I don't know what to do. They just don't want to listen or let go off this nonsense of them. I wish I could just make them disappear". Wei Ying said thoughtfully. "That could be arranged you know. Making them disappear permanently". A-Sang said while taking a sip of his tea. Wei Ying gave him a raised eyebrow and shook his head." Would cause to much trouble". Wei Ying answered. "So what are you going to do about this whole situation then". A-Sang asked.
"I don't know yet but I will think of something". They both kept quiet for awhile before A-Sang said." Maybe today is the day to do something about it Wuxian. You know the longer you let this go on the harder it's going to get. I mean they just don't listen. Not even to Wanji or his father. I have never seen such shameless behavior from omegas before. It's like they have no self respect ". "What do mean by. Today is the day". A-Sang put his cup down and looked for a long time at Wei Ying which made him to start uncomfortable in the end. "A-Sang is there something you want to tell. Then just do it". A-Sang cleared his throat and said." Please do not kill the messenger, but on my way here I saw lady Wang went into the library with some of her disciples carrying gifts and a tray of food". Wei Ying's scent flared up. A-Sang opened his fan and wave it infront of his face when he saw the look on Wei Ying's face." You know you could have started with that". He said as he stood up. "Don't be mad Wuxian I was going to tell you". Wei Ying looked at him and said." I am not mad at you A-Sang. I am pissed at them. I'm going to show them once and for all who they are messing with". And then he walked out the door with A-Sang short on his heels.
Wei Ying walked briskly and his pheromones screams of anger. As he made his way out of the private residential area and into the courtyard many disciples turns their heads in his direction but no one said anything when they saw the look on the omegas face. He walked into the library and their before him on the floor laid the presents presumably for his betrothed and that witch is sitting opposite Lan Zhan with the tray of food still covered. He is seeing red right now because not only that the Jiang sect heir had also send gifts by the looks of it. Lan Zhan looked up from where he was writing ignoring the talking omega infront of him and saw the look on Wei Ying's face."So this is what you do when you are supposed to rewrite the old scripts. Entertaining others. Well is that not sweet. So please do not let me interrupt you Lan Wanji". Wei Ying sneered in anger and his pheromones exploded through the room. The other disciples were now standing by the door listening. Lan Zhan stood up and came walking slowly towards Wei Ying. "Wei Ying it is not what you think. I have asked her many times to leave but she refused to". "If she had refused why did you not leave Lan Wanji". Lan Zhan flinch at the tone of voice and because Wei Ying is calling him by his courtesy name. He had no answer for that. He knew he had just fuck up big time. "You know what I'm not even angry at you Lan Wanji just disappointed. Disappointed in the fact that you would stay in the same vicinity as that". And he pointed at Wang Fen who had stood up and smiles as she said." Lan Wanji had never belonged to you. My uncle had told me that he was promise to and you low breed stole him so I'm taking back what is rightfully mine". Wei Ying started laughing not because he found what she had said funny but because he is just so angry right now. He walked closer to her and said." How could I steal someone who had never belonged to you. How delusional you are. You think that calling me a low breed would hurt me. Let me tell you something. I have had enough of you and that Jiang sect heir. You call me a low breed but the both of you acts like sluts who will spread their legs for anyone". Really Lan Wanji you get jealous if a alpha just looks or greets me but you can not walk away from them". Lan Zhan hanged his head in shame." Wei Ying I did not entertain her. I have asked her many times to leave but she refuses to. They just brought these gifts even after I told them not and to take it away". Quick footsteps were heard and Lan Xichen, his father and uncle came walking in. "What is going on here". Qinghen-Jun asked as his eyes fell on the gifts and the angry face of Wei Ying. Wei Ying turns around and calls some of the Lan disciples and instructed them to take all the gifts and put it in the courtyard. "Wei Ying what are you going to do". Xichen asked but Wei Ying is to angry to answer he walked past them all and follows the disciples. Wang Fen and Jiang Wayin walked behind him asking. "What are you doing with our gifts?". "As it seems that the two of you are hard of hearing maybe you will understand actions better. This will be your last warning. If you should continue to make advances at my fiance than next time I will just kill you". The disciples had place the gifts on the ground and the rest of the family had also followed. The disciples whispered among themselves agast at the two omegas who had no shame knowing the second master was betrothed but still try to gain his favor and attention. Wei Ying took out a few talismans."What are those the two asked". But he pay them no mind. He infused it with some of his spiritual power and flames starts to appears and throws it on the packages. They immediately took flame and starts to burn. Everyone watch on in shock. He turns towards the two and said." Now you can go and tell your parents. Your sects and anyone who would listen. I will asked my grandmother to prepare because I will tell you know she would burn your sects down for me. You think you can humiliate me and I will stand by every time. Next is that pig face Jin whatever is name is. I will have my revenge on all of you". Then he turns and walked away. Making his way towards his residence. Once he arrived he pulled up his barrier and walked inside. He wanted to scream of frustration and anger. He went into his sleeping area and took of his robes with shaking hands and climb into his nest. Not even surrounded by his mates scent could calm his racing mind and anger. After tossing and turning for some time he got up, dress himself again and took subian. Making his way towards the front door he opened it and walked out sliding it close behind him before he walked through the barrier once again. Making his way towards the bunny field hoping that being there would calm him down.

After Wei Ying left the others were left in shock watching the gift burns before them. Eyes wide in horror. Lan Qiren was the first one to come too and order a few disciples to put it out and clear the remains away. Wang Fen and Jiang Wayin stood there horror and anger on their faces. Before Wang Fen said with tears in her eyes while looking at Lan Zhan standing there with a blank face." I just wanted to do something nice for the second master lan when I saw him sitting alone in the library". And she reached out to touch his arm but he took a step away from her leaving her hand hanging in the air. "Wanji can you explain what happened here please?". Qinghen-Jun asked with a calmness that did not match his voice and the look on his face as he looked at his son. He looked at his father and explain the situation. First the Jiang sect heir had sent gifts to the library and he told the disciples to send them back and then the young lady Wang also came with gifts and a tray of food he told her the same thing over and over but she refused to leave. They listen in silence until he was finished before his father asked him."So why did you not leave Wanji. It does not matter if did not share a meal with her or not. The problem here is and that had hurt Wei Ying are the fact that you stayed giving her the impression that you are interested. Do you remember what I have said to you after the first time Wanji"? Lan Zhan's eyes grew wide as he looked between his father, uncle and brother but their expressions were the same. Disappointed. "Yes father I remember". Instead of answering him Qinghen-Jun turns is attention to the two omegas and said."The two of you had disrespected my nephew for the last time and I have had enough it. So go to your dormitories and pack your things and leave. I am sick and tired of people thinking that they can say and do as they please. I will send letters to your parents explaining why I send you home. I want you out of here in no less than ten minutes. Xichen make sure they leave with their disciples". Both he and Qiren turns around and left. Xichen said to the two shocked omegas. "Come let's go you have heard my father". The two had no choice but to do as they were told. Lan Zhan stood there still in one place. He knew exactly what his father meant by those words. A-Sang looked at him from behind his fan before he spoke. "You have hurt my friend deeply and even if I wanted to I will not help you. Not this time. He trusted you. You know how hard it was for him to open himself up Wanji. You were the first one he trusted. The first one he had opened up to. The first one he had believed and believed in. Right now I hope Wuxian is fine and if he is not I will make you regret that you were ever born". And with those words he turns and walked away. Lan Zhan could only listen. It was never his intention to hurt Wei Ying and yet he did. How did things come to this he does not understand. He watches as his brother escorts the two omegas down the steps of the Cloud Recess. It's his fault solely. His father and Wei Ying are right he should have left but he just wanted to finished the last few characters then he would have left. He did not encourage her or the Jiang sect heir. She was stubborn in her pursuit even after he asked her multiple times to leave so he opt just to ignore her. Wei Ying. I need to explain this. I need to make him understand that I will never hurt him intentionally or otherwise. But will he even listen to me. Would he even want to see me. The disciples that was still standing around was agreeing with what just happened. Those two omegas was plain out shameless and disrespectful. Knowing that the second and third young masters were betrothed but still pursuit Lan Wanji. They wonder what will happen now because the words that the sect Leader utter did not sound good. Maybe now some of them who had admire the omega in the stillness of their hearts actually have a chance now.
