Chapter 35 : Layover

Third Person's P.O.V :-

When the car finally came to a stop in front of the Kim Residents, Jin hurriedly got out of the car and rounded it to open the door of the backseat,"Hand her back to me!" He demanded heatedly while he glared childishly at Jungkook.

Jungkook just stared up at Jin and tried to get Sujin off of his lap but she held onto his shirt tightly,"Nuuuu! Sujin stay with hasome opa!" She yelled loudly shocking Jin again.

Jungkook chuckled at the stunned look on Jin's face and got down from the car while still carrying Sujin,"I guess she's my baby now" He whispered smugly before walking past Jin.

Taehyung got out of the car to see what the other two were talking about outside of the car but by the time he came out Jungkook was already standing at the front porch waiting for them while Jin stood by the car door looking like he took another critical damage attack from Jungkook.

"Seokjin-ssi?!" Taehyung called out as he approached Jin,"Are you okay?" He asked as he held Jin to support him, the other was looking like he was about to faint any minute now.

"H-He stole my princess..!" Jin complained to Taehyung with almost teary eyes,"Princess snatcher!" He accused again with trembling lips.

On one hand Taehyung felt bad for Jin as he seemed like the type of father who loved his daughter very much but on the other hand seeing the person who had only ever shown poker faces and disgusted expression as his only responses, having a mental breakdown over his daughter preferring Jungkook more than him was strangely adorable to Taehyung.

"Seokjin-ssi, it's okay, sometimes children find a few people that they are obsessed with for the moment, don't worry, I'm sure, Sujin still loves you the most!" He assured in a convincing tone.

"Nu! Sujin like hasome opa!" Sujin yelled from Jungkook's arms.

Jin died a little more from the inside.

It had been a day since Taehyung and Jungkook had arrived in Jin's house to stay. Jin had helped both of them settle in and showed them around the house, all the while pouting because Sujin refused to get down from Jungkook's arms.

She was even demanding to sleep on Jungkook's bed before Taehyung whispered something in Jungkook's ear and Jungkook finally convinced her to go sleep in her own bed. Jin was slightly happy at the development and felt increasingly grateful towards Taehyung at that moment, only for Sujin to wake up the next day and seek out Jungkook the first thing in the morning to play.

Currently Sujin was showing Jungkook around her toy room and introducing him to all her dolls. Jin who was sipping on his coffee while leaning on the kitchen island, glared at the two of them like a hawk.

"If he doesn't return her to me within tonight I'm kicking him out of my house" Jin brooded stubbornly.

Taehyung, who was standing beside him in the kitchen, practicing his latte art, looked up at Jin,"Oh? You finished your coffee? Do you need another one? I just finished making this art, can you rate the art and taste it as well?" He asked as he placed the cup in front of Jin.

Jin looked down at the beautifully done latte art in front of him and raised his eyebrows in wonder,"Oh that looks good, are you sure this is your first time practicing?" He asked as he picked up the latte and sipped on it.

Taehyung blushed a little at Jin's word and laughed slightly,"It is my first time practicing, I guess my teacher taught me well" He uttered softly and looked forward to Jin's review about the taste.

Jin hmmed in response and took another sip to properly savour it,"It's nice, very smooth and delicious" He stated and looked back at Taehyung who looked happy to receive a compliment.
