Arven and Scarlet sat up, looking at a massive circle of rainbow light high up in the sky, swirling slowly like a whirlpool.

"Oh my god," he said.

"What is it?" She asked.

"No idea..." He saw a small object... maybe a bird? "Hey, do you see that thing?" It was flying  down from the rainbow light, and it seemed to be coming towards them.

"It's a Pokémon, maybe..." Scarlet said. She was apprehensive. Nemona heard them talking and groaned. Leon rolled over onto his back.

"Hey, guys," Scarlet said, hesitantly, "I think you should see this..."

Leon opened his eyes, and blinked, confused, as he saw the beautiful rainbow pool in the sky. "Hmmm? What... Woah! What is that?"

He nudged Nemona awake, and Mabosstiff and Koraidon raised their heads, too.

"It's so pretty," Nemona said, in awe.

"That thing there," Scarlet said, pointing. "What is that? It's just a Pokémon, right?"

It was closer now, and it looked strange, like it was see-through. They squinted.

"Maybe a ghost Pokémon?" said Nemona, although she was unsure. She pulled out her Rotom Phone, to see if her Pokédex would recognise it.

It moved as though it was swimming, and as it got closer, they could see it had many colours on it's shell.

"It's a turtle," said Scarlet, suddenly. Arven looked at her. "Your Dad's book, Arven - the Violet book-"

"You're right!" He grabbed at his pack and took out the book, flipping through to find the page.

"Um..." Scarlet pulled at his arm. "It's coming this way..."

They all stood up, unsure whether to run or fight.

Leon called out Charizard and told him to wait at the ready, just in case - but Charizard, upon seeing the creature above, relaxed his stance. Mabosstiff and Koraidon, too, were strangely placid, like they knew there was nothing to be afraid of.

Everything was lit up now - an ethereal glow emanated from the strange, beautiful Pokémon, who was swimming down to them, trailing light behind it in the air like wake in the water.

"Tera... pagos?" Arven said, squinting at the page in his Dad's book. "The world-turtle... Guys, I don't think it's dangerous."

They still felt nervous, though

They still felt nervous, though.

It slowed down to reach them - it was as big as a boat, but it had peaceful, oval eyes and seemed to be comprised of some sort of crystal, or perhaps just pure light. It almost hurt their brains just to look at, and Arven had a haunting sensation they were in the presence of something beyond human comprehension.
