(H/C) - hair colour.

3rd Person POV :

"What on earth were you thinking?!" Ray hissed at the platinum-haired in a disgruntled tone. "We have no idea where she came from, and you now want to have a conversation with her?! She could be working for Mama as well as keeping an eye on us!" He carries on.

"You're right." Norman responded with a soft smile. "However, we can possibly gain knowledge from her regardless of whose side she is on. Whatever the case may be, she could be valuable to us."

The black and white duo were on their way to the library when they came upon the orange-haired girl. "Emma!" Norman called out to her, before she turned to face them with a puzzled expression. Norman opened his mouth to speak before the ravenette cut the platinum blonde off with a frustrated frown. "Thank goodness Emma, can you at least advise him before he loses his mind?" The platinum blonde locks smiles awkwardly as he rubs the back of his nape. She gave a baffled smile before responding. "Why? What happened?"

"This moron intends to have a conversation with that new girl! He stated he wanted to dig up some information from her or whatsoever he mentioned!" He whispered shouted at her.

On the other side of the house.

The girl with certain (H/C) locks sits on the chair, rummaging through her album in the library. She gazed at photographs of her mother as waiting for the platinum blonde arrival. Everyone in the lab has voiced their opinion on how much she has changed after her mother's death seven years ago. Not to mention how she used to avoided Peter given that he let her mother's corpse to be eaten by those creatures. She deserved a good send-off.

The door was softly clicked open causing the girl to lifted her gaze from the album. "So, what's the deal? Is this related to my unexpected arrival, as the newcomers are normally one-year-olds?" Their own curiosity was tossed to them as she asked, as if she read their minds causing the orange-haired girl to responded with a nod.

"We are passionate about the outside world since we have never been permitted to leave the gate." The platinum hue started. Ray casts a curious glance at the (H/C) attempting to understand her body language. Body language is a set of nonverbal cues that you can utilise to express your emotions and intentions. Your posture, facial emotions, and hand movements are examples of these. Understanding and interpreting other people's body language can help you pick up on unsaid concerns or feelings.

"I see." (Y/N) replied. "But, to be honest, I don't think I can help you much due to the fact that I was never allowed to go outside , either." She continues, causing the girl with orange hair tilted her head in perplexity. The ravenette leans against the bookshelf, his arms crossed across his chest, staring in the new girl. "Could you further explain?" Norman expressed his curiosity.

"I was born and were raised in a lab." Emma stares at the (H/C), her eyes widening in disbelief. But on the other hand, (Y/N)'s head was stuffed with numerous reasons that she needed to offer. Since these kids aren't as foolish as they seem, she needs to pick the greatest and most plausible defence. "Unlike the other kids, I'm different. Being physically frail from birth, I required specialised medical care." She answered.

"But why were you sent to this orphanage, then?" The ravenette asked with a bored expression on his face. She takes a lengthy breath, attempt to preserve her tears at bay before speaking. "To answer your question, well- since my mother died a few years ago, I have no parent who is able to care for me." Half truth, half lie isn't that terrible. Especially given the fact that she had pictures of her mother, it would be solid evidence for her to gain their belief. "Therefore they decided to transfer me to this orphanage once they were sure I was in good health. However, I am still lacking in physical activities." She finished. Emma's eyes soften as she hears her explanation. Emma was well-known for her kind and caring nature. The (H/C) was cruel enough to fabricate a story in order to earn her trust.

But, as horrible as it may appear, kindness alone couldn't help you to survive in this world.

After the talk between those four Emma went to the nursery room to examine and locate the implanted transmitter's placement as the other two went about their business.

The particular girl is still in the library, staring out the window. Her gaze is riveted on the waxing gibbous phase of the moon. She formed a pleasant smile on her face as she muttered to herself. "I'm aware how guilty you feel, mother, when you sacrifice those children in order to survive." Her eyes softened as she sighed softly. "Believe me when I say I'm going to change the way things are."

For your sake , I'm willing to sacrifice myself if it's possible to absolve you from your guilt.

In the dark light of the room, the orphanage's caretaker was contacting the headquarters to report the orphanage's present position. "This is number 73584 from plant 3." She started. "October 17th- No abnormalities." She reported. "Checking out n-" The ravenette was going to check out when she was interrupted by another voice. The radio picked up a soft old woman's voice as she spoke. "Isabella?" Her eyes widen as she responds to the unexpected voice. "Grandma?"

"I have a message for you from our boss." The other line's caller's voice started. "You'll be able to send out those tree as planned correct?" It continues. "This is a very important task , Isabella. The other plants aren't doing too well this year." She pointed out. The ravenette pauses for a moment before responding. "Yes i completely understand. Please tell our boss that everything is going as planned." She finished.

The room was silent before Grandma's voice could be heard again. "How is (Y/N)?" Even though she has only been gone for one day, the elderly woman is already concerned about the health of her favourite child. "She's doing great; even though it's only her first day, she's gotten along fine with everyone." The raven haired woman gave a genuine reply. "It's wonderful to hear that, I hope you will take good care of her." With a gentle tone, the elderly woman responded.
