FLASHBACK

Somwan looked at the young woman sitting before him, a swell of pride filling his heart. He was impressed at her outstanding path through academia, from the moment he stumbled upon her sitting all by herself in the dark corners of a library to this very day, where she had proudly earned the title of Professorship. Finally, Amara can now be referred to as Professor. He is well aware of the huge amount of effort she demonstrated and the sheer number of scientific journals she diligently produced. Her dedication to carrying out research was evident as she wholeheartedly absorbed herself in the pursuit of knowledge. Furthermore, she fearlessly embraced the spotlight, positioning herself as an influential person representing Chulalongkorn. All of those activities were done with the present moment in mind. Finally, all of her hard work has paid off.

"What do you need?"

"I'll pay a visit to Waseda, but not as a lecturer. Allow me to go as Amara Hathaikorn." Somwan, a respected professor in the humanitarian field, is held in high regard at both Chulalongkorn and Waseda. As one of his pupils, Amara feels the need to inform him about her plan. She doesn't want to go to Waseda recklessly, and the people start to talk badly about Freya or her.

"Professor Amara Hathaikorn?"

"Just, Amara," she whispered softly, her voice barely audible in the stillness of the room. The words hung in the air, If she decides to attend Waseda, it's highly likely that she will gain recognition as a lecturer from Chulalongkorn University among some of her fellow lecturers at Waseda. She has frequently visited in the past, getting involved with the BALAC program during its early stages.

"Why?"

"I really wanted to attend Freya Harris's graduation."

"Ah, I see." Somwan wore a wide grin, having been known with Amara for quite some time. The young lady standing before him was never one to pursue romantic interests, despite being aware of Amara's preference to date people of the same gender.

He relates some of his experiences with instructors who continue to have illicit affairs with their pupils, even when they are married. However, Amara, despite her attractive appearance, never engaged in any romantic involvement with her students, regardless of the numerous advances made towards her.

"Are you currently in a romantic relationship with her?"

"No, not yet." Amara responded with a hint of shyness, "Well, you see, she was actually still a student, so I didn't really have the courage to. I advised her to be patient until the graduation arrives, and only if her feelings remain in their solid, then... "

"And what happened next?"

"I will pursue a serious relationship with her."

"Oh, so that's why you sent her to Japan a semester early, huh? And why did you choose to flee to Germany beforehand?"

"Professor, it was two years ago. How do you still remember?" A blush crept across Amara's cheeks, painting her face a rosy hue.

I found it rather peculiar that you chose to engage in such behavior during that moment. I couldn't help but wonder the reasoning behind your actions. Turns out for this day."

"Professor!"

With a hearty laugh, Somwan said, "You two are absolutely perfect for one another! Go ahead and take the moment. Pursue your beloved, Amara."

"Thank you, Professor."

"Oh dear, I must prepare myself to answer questions later." He continues to laugh out loud and playfully teases Amara, asking if he should start making wedding preparations as well.
