Could it be? (Kakanaru story)

Chapter 7

I was still a little nervous but from what I have seen Kakashi doesn't remember about what happen yesterday. Today our mission was to be bodyguards of a woman on her 20s from what I was told. So here I am walking to the gates where we were all supposed to meet, everyone was there except kakashi. 'No surprise there' I thought while sighing, there were only three people Akisu, Sasuke, and Sakura. Akisu was the lady we are supposed to protect. I saw Sakura and Sasuke sitting lazily under a tree and Akisu leaning against a wall. I went and sat down next to my team while whining about how kakashi-sensei is late again, "what's with the hair cut, dobe?" Sasuke ask me. "Nothing I just had to cut it because it was getting a little to long, TEME" I say the last part louder to annoy him more, "well it doesn't look bad on you either, Naruto" Sakura said while smiling a bit. "Hehe, thank you Sakura!" "Don't get use to it!" She told me while making a fist 'scary~' I thought while sweat dropping. Eventually an hour later kakashi came with his 'I got lost in the path of life' thing. "Finally sensei, I thought you were never going to show up!" I scream at him while he just rubs the back of his neck sheepishly, "yeah I know sorry okey?" I just huff and continue with our mission. About 20 minutes of walking in silence kakashi finally speaks. "So yesterday what happen really? I just don't remember nothing" I tense a little but then relax when Sasuke spoke, "nothing too crazy, you just got drunk and Naruto had to take you home" Sasuke says with his usual monotonous voice. "Huh, is that so Naruto" I gulp and speak "yes sensei, you were a real mess you know?!" That wasn't a lie at all, so we're good for now.

"So did I did anything that I shouldn't?" Now Sasuke, Sakura, and Akisu we're having there own conversation so they were not really listening to us. "Uhh it depends on what you mean" I said while putting my arms behind my head. I know what he meant but of course I wasn't going to tell him the truth, that will only be embarrassing for me. "Well in any matter" 'he's really persistent in's he?' I thought while mentally sighing, "I mean you did flirt with some ladies in our way home" I said as I had my hand on my chin and looking up at the sky. "Oh it's that so? I guess I have some girls to apologize
to" he said while rubbing the back of his head. "You definitely have, sensei!" I say while trying to keep up with my lie. But if I'm being honest, I don't really thing he fell for it, I mean I could feel how he was looking and me with suspicion.

Time skip

Time past and we had to set a camp to sleep and get some rest before continuing our mission. Sasuke set up the tents, Sakura got some wood, I went to get some rabbits to eat, Akisu set up the fire, and kakashi.. well I don't know if he even did something. We were finish with everything and ate happily, it was time to go to sleep finally after all that time. I was going to my tent while I noticed something, "hey teme, we're five and there's only 4 tends. What happen?!" I scream at Sasuke and he just shrugged "I don't know there were only four tents." I just sigh and knew I was going to regret this later, 'we are supposed to protect Akisu, so I guess I will have to give her my tent' I decided to take a bath and prepare to have a cold night. "Well then, I guess you can have my tent Akisu because there's not an extra one. In the mean time I'm going to get a bath" I said while smiling "Naruto, I can share my tent if you don't mind. I wouldn't like you getting a cold from sleeping in the cold floor" kakashi tells me while eye-smiling at me, "uhh if you don't mind sensei" I said a little happy because I wouldn't need to sleep in the cold ground. "Nah I don't mind besides, I want to talk to you about something" I tense at this but don't show it. "Well alright then!" I scream while running to a close river.
