Chapter 3

The night came when eda was heading off the the parent teacher conference, nakusa wasn't going anywhere, but.. Unfortunately couldn't be trusted alone. "Alright kiddo, Stephanie is coming to watch you while I go to your parent teacher conference" eda said, "whyyyyy!!!" Nakusa complained. "Because she's my friend, and I don't trust you to stay home alone"  eda said, as she grabbed her keys. "Oh come on! That's not fair! I'm perfectly responsible!" Nakusa argues. "Mhm.. The fire department came here after you burned a box of oatmeal raisin cookies" eda said, reminding nakusa. "... Fine, but I still don't like her" nakusa complained. "She's my friend, just be nice" eda asked. "Ugh.. Fine I'll be civil.. But nice is to much" nakusa argued, then the doorbell rang. Eda opened the door and it was Stephenie. "Hey Steph" eda said with a smile. "Hey girlie~ so where's that little cutie?" She asked with a bright smile. "Ah.. She doesn't like being called cute.. And.. Don't eat her cookies, but she's right over there" eda said. "No cute or cookies, got it!" Stephenie said.  Eda left, and Stephenie looked at nakusa and rolled her eyes. "Ugh, why are you still here? Go do homework or something" she said, nakusa glared at her then flicked her off. "So rude.. Just like your mother-.. Oh wait.. That's right.. You do t have real parents, your adopted" Stephenie said out of spite. "Yeah? So? Eda chose to take care of me, your parents didn't have a choice" nakusa said back, which made Stephenie mad. Stephenie then went in nakusa cookie jar and ate one, making sure nakusa saw it. Nakusa gave a blank stare, then smirked.

Mean eda had just gotten to the parent teacher conference, and as she walked around, she saw a lot of parents with their kids. "Edalyn clawThorne... " a voice that eda recognized. Eda jumped as she turned around. "Oh my god! Your still alive.. "  she said looking shocked. "And your still rude.. " Terra said. "Jeez.. How.. Are you not hooked up to an oxygen tank?" Eda asked genuinely confused
"Why are you here!? " Terra asked rudely.  "My daughter goes here.. Otherwise I wouldn't deal with your bitch ass" eda said with a smirk. "Ugh! Who's your daughter anyway!?" Terra asked. "Nakusa.. Nakusa green" eda said with a smile. "Ugh.. Of course she is.. " terra groaned. "Heh.. Yeah that's my girl" eda said walking away.  Then after a while, of hear about all the pranks nakusa has been doing,  she had one teacher left. Eda sighed and thought about just leaving, but decided to suck it up, and do it.  Eda walked up to their classroom, took a deep breath, and walked in.

Nobody was in the room, which made it a little worse, but rai e was happy to  see her. "Hey eda, how are you?" They asked with a bright smile. "Fine.. I just.. Came for my daughter" eda explained, not making eye contact. "Well..shes just like her.. Beautiful mother" Raine said, as they blushed a little. "Keep it professional.. Whispers. " eda mumbled, which made Raine a little sad. "Right.. Um.. Well.. She's.. Really just like you were.. Constant pranks.. No paying attention.. Swearing.. " Raine said, looking down. Eda chuckled. "Yep.. Gotta teach em early" she said to herself making Raine laugh. "Eda come on, she has potential" Raine said as they walked up closer to them. "You remember when you hid that speaker in the classroom, and played all those sounds?" Raine asked, eda laughed. "Oh yeah, that was hilarious.. " eda said as she smiled looking at raine. Raine got a good look of eda's face, and saw her eye bags, reason being, she forgot to cover them up. "Ah.. Well I'm just going to leave" eda said, and she's backed away for the door, then Raine grabbed her hand, looking concerned. "Eda.. Are you okay?" They asked, hoping nfor an honest answer. "Yeah, of course, I'm all good" she lied with such confidence.  Raine put their arm around dead waist, and pulled her close. "You can't lie to me.. Why arnt you sleeping?" They asked her In a serious tone
