Zach was in the school's bathrooms, talking to some friends.
- Dude, just sneak out.
- Are you crazy? Last time I tried that I was caught before even opening the door. - the blonde boy said.
- But thats 'cause you didn't do it right, you idiot. You need to get out of a window in the first floor of the house. In like a bathroom of something. You need to be smart, Z.
Zach just nodded, looking at himself in the mirror as his friends left. Suddenly, one of the doors opened. The blonde teen froze, staring at his housemate through their reflections.
- You have three seconds to explain yourself, Zachary. - The older said, grabbing Zach by his shoulder to turn him around.
- Max, it's not what you think. I'm not going to really sneak out.
- You better not. And specially not with those bitches, got it? - the older said firmly.
Zach crossed his arms, looking away.
- Why do you care anyway. I'll do whatever I want.
Before he knew, the blonde boy was pinned against the wall, Maxwell's hand choking him.
- If I find out you have sneaked out to go with those boys, I will deal with you myself.
And that didn't sound like a threat, it was a promise. The younger knew, but he faked being unbothered, and just pushed Maxwell away before leaving the bathroom to go back to class.
Night time arrived, and Zach was surprisingly in his best behavior. Carter was a bit suspicious, but he let just it slide. However, Max wasn't buying it. Before bed, he entered Zachary's room to warn the boy again.
- Just shut up, I won't do anything. I told you. Now leave, I am tired and I want to sleep early.
- Zachary, I'm telling you this one least time. I will deal with you myself. I mean it.
- You won't do anything, because I won't go, gosh. Why can't you just trust me ?
Max raised an eyebrow, wich was all the answer needed, and he just left the room.
Of course, Zachary had all intentions of sneaking out. He got dressed and waited fir everyone ti go to bed, before quietly going downstairs, shoes in his hands and tiptoeing. He opened the kitchen's window, not even opening the lights, and started getting out, until he heard a sound behind him.
It was not Max who caught him. Neither Carter or Cameron. It was Nathan. And of course, he was not going to keep his mouth quiet about it. Any opportunity to get Zach in trouble and get him back from everything, sounded too tempting. The older opened the lights, almost making the blonde scream.
- You are in deep trouble, buddy.
- Nate, please. Don't say anything. Please, I'll do anything you want.
Nathan laughed and started walking towards the stairs.
- You are fucking crazy if you think I'm not gonna snitch.
The blonde boy held him back.
- Nathan, please.
Befire neither of the biys could reach the stairs, a shadow appeared on top, making bith boys freeze and stay quiet.
- Nate, go to sleep and keep your mouth shut about this. No arguing or I'll break your legs. -Maxwell said.
- O-okay. - Nathan stuttered, rushing to his room.
Zach bit his lip, not sure whether to run, cry or scream. But he just stayed still, quiet and shaking in fear.
- I warned you, Zachary.
- Maxy... I'm sorry, I wasn't really going to...
- Shut. The fuck. Up.
And yeah, the youngee wouldn't have opened his miuth again even if he was payed for it.
- Basement. Now. I'll meet you there in 5 minutes. I want you bent over and your pants down. Argue with me and I'll hit you bare. - Max said.
As promised, 5 minutes later, Maxwell was walking down the basement stairs, belt in hand. Zach didn't even think about disobeying, he knew the older wasn't playing around.
- I'm going soft on you, but if you try this again I will not hesitate to repeate this butbare and for as long as my arm can handle until getting tired. Got it?
- Y-yes, Maxwell.
- Good. Now hold still.
The first hit came harder than expected, and it only took 4 more for Zach to break down to tears. Max kept his promise, stopping after 15 hits. At this point, the blonde boy was just a mess of tears, hiding his face in his hands.
- Hey buddy, it's over. We're done. - Maz said, rubbing Zach's back.
After a bit, the younger pulled up his pants, and quickly dropped himself in Max's arms.
- There you go, Zach. Let it go. You did good, it's all good now. I'm not mad at you anymore, bud.
When the crying teen was more calmed, they both went bck upstairs and into Zach's room.
- I won't say a word about this to Carter or Cam. Don't worry. I told you I would deal with you and I did.
