(Rowley's POV)

I sat on my cliff, staring up at the moon. The cold breeze flowed through my hair, and the dull clouds parted so the moonlight could shine on my face. I couldn't stop from thinking about Greg from poetry club earlier, how dainty and elegant he was, I would've thought he was a fairy had I not known better.

I raised my head up and howled into the night, letting all the other beta bitch wolves that I was the alpha in these woods. I then opened my mouth and let out a mighty roar, ripping my shirt to pieces with my claws. "That twink will be mine!!!!!". I lowered my body, and began prowling into the dark forest, my pack needs me, for the season of the blood moon begins tonight.

(Gregs POV)

I stared at my sketchbook during class, I was feeling especially dreary today, so I was having a hard time focusing in class. I played with my pencil in my hand, and then felt my phone buzz in my pocket. I pulled it out to see that Mom was calling me. "Ugh what is it Susan?". "Hi hun, don't forget you have ballet practice tonight babes, bye love you pooks <3". God why can't I just be left alone?.

My mind started to feel hazy, and I felt that weird feeling like i'm being watched that I felt yesterday. And then I felt it, like a dogs snout was pressing up against my neck. I turned my head to see that Rowley's handsome face was right behind me. "Sorry, I just noticed a strange scent coming from you.....". "What do I smell like?". "Like the scent of the wild".

I was going to say something but I noticed that he already left, god he loves to do that huh?. I went back to sketching, I'd been able to make a pretty good sketch of Rowley's face, and so I was pretty proud of it. "Wow that's a nice drawing Greg, how'd you learn to do that?". I looked to my side to see a man with curly red hair holding an open book in his hand, his golden eyes pierced mine, and I had to look away, it was Freggley, the president of the poetry club, he had a black blazer on, with a white elegant collar. "Oh um, I guess i'm kinda just a natural?". "Hmmmmmm well the best of us were born with it right?". He winked at me, and went back to his book.

It was lunch time now, so I walked to the cafe to meet my bestie. I saw Chirag waiting at the table for me. "Hey queen, I ordered you your white chocolate latte!". "Thanks bb, did you get the good stuff?". He looked a little nervous. "Um yeah, but we need to be cautious. I think someone with the....... *shudders* cheese touch......". "Okay I have no idea what the fuck that is Chirag". He motioned for me to lean in. "It's a super deadly curse, said to be passed from person to person, and.....and...... I can't even speak of it". He covered his mouth, and I rolled my eyes.

We went to the bathroom to read our gay vampire romance novels, and by the time we were done I was ready to head back to class. "We should probably head back, i'll miss chemistry if we keep goofing off". He helped me carry my things, and we headed back to class.

I walked to my classroom, but oddly enough, the whole part of the hallway was silent, and to my surprise, the whole hallway was empty, which was VERY unusual. I shrugged it off, and opened the door to my classroom. My eyes were met with a strange fog which filled the room, and not a single soul to be found. I slowly walked forward, very creeped out, and turned on the light switch, but the lights didn't seem to come on for some reason.

"Okay this is kinda weird, i'm gonna call the police". As I grabbed my phone, suddenly a strange hushed voice grazed my ear. "Don't". The strange voice felt familiar, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. I noticed something on the wall at the end of the room, and as I walked closer I was able to make out what it was. It was a note, hanging from a knife implanted into the wall. I nervously took the knife out of the wall, and opened the note.

"Take this knife, and go to the forsaken forest on the night of the full moon

-R"

I stood there for a second, taking in all of the information. I noticed some more coarse black fur stuck to the wall where the note was hanging. I shoved the knife and letter into my bag, and hurried out the door.

The full moon was happening tonight, and although I was nervous and terrified, I needed to learn more about Rowley, I've always been interested in the dark and cryptic, and something was serious up with Rowley. In my room, I packed my sketchbook and my crystals and curse journal. The rain was pattering softly on the roof, and as the sky turned into night my room was only lit by my lantern.

I heard a knock on my door, and I softly told the person to come in. It was Rodrick. "Hey dude, It's gonna get cold tonight, do you want to bring you some blankets?". "Ugh leave me alone, I don't mind the cold........". He sighed and softly closed the door. I finished packing my gear, and climbed out the window into the night.

I stood at the edge of the forest, gazing up at the sky. It had been raining all night, but the bright full moon still glowed through the film of clouds. I pulled out the knife from my bag, and gripped it tightly in my hands. I shuddered a little when I stared at the darkness of the forest ahead of me, but after a minute, I finally stepped forward and headed into the forsaken forest. "Here we go I guess".
