Sometimes what started as a simple coincidence, became the best known, the disgusting feeling of knowing that you have been used, the feeling of hatred towards that person who, even knowing yours, preferred to jump into the void without you.
Why did the story have to start that way? Why should he be one more of that pile?
—Gaipa.— The named turned around watching the owner of that voice arrive with a boy. —Oh, Li Ming, what are you doing here?—. —Uncle Jim asked me to bring you a couple of things you forgot at his house, so that's why I came.— The opposite nodded, looking at the other boy, waiting for Ming to introduce him. —Oh right, this is Heart, he's... my boyfriend, but don't tell Uncle Jim.—
—Hello Heart, I'm Gaipa.— Heart put his hands together greeting the older man and pulled Li Ming's shirt and then pointed to an ice cream stand. —I understand, you want an ice cream, P'Gaipa, Heart is deaf, so he communicates through sign language, however he can read lips, so he can understand him a little if he speaks to him.— Gaipa nodded looking at the minor and with his hands he let him know that it was a pleasure to meet him.
—P'! Does he know sign language?—. —Not really, I learned the basics at school, I had a classmate and friend who also had the same condition as Heart so I decided to learn a little to communicate with him somehow.—
Heart pleased to have another person with whom he could communicate let him know that it was a pleasure for him to meet him too. —Well, if you'll excuse me, we'll go for an ice cream.—. —Mhm, it's fine.— While the minors were leaving, a familiar voice appeared at the door of Gaipa's house. —Gaipa.— He turned around looking at Wen standing in front of him. —I need us to talk.— He wasn't to blame for anything, he was also someone in love, I couldn't judge him. —Mhm, okay, come on in.—
It was logical that the environment was uncomfortable, even though both of them were just sitting drinking water, the whole environment was uncomfortable. But Wen needed to talk to him, so he wouldn't make the same mistake he made with Alan. —I'd like to talk to you about Alan.—. —Your ex.— Wen sighed, setting his glass of water aside.
—Mhm, my ex, I know they already slept together, you shouldn't look at me as the enemy, believe me.—. —I don't.— The taller one nodded and stared at Gaipa. —I'll be honest with you then... Alan isn't easy, he's a sticky boy, with a certain emotional dependency, he can manipulate you if he can't let go, he'll find a way to make you stay by his side.—. —Why are you telling me this?— Gaipa put down his glass, looking up listening to Wen's words. —Because someone like Alan... would not let anyone into his house, sleep in his bed and say goodbye the next day as if nothing had happened.—
The opposite settled into his place and smiled at the boy in front of him. —Wen, I certainly shouldn't tell you this, it's not my business, but apparently Uncle Jim didn't have the courage to do it.—. —Gaipa, in truth I'm not telling you as someone who seeks to ruin what you and Alan te-.—. —Let me talk... Alan and I, we don't have anything at the moment, if we had, I wouldn't have let her ex-boyfriend come into my house to tell me about the person I love and just tell me to be careful with him.— Wen He raised his eyebrows leaning on the back.
—You can't talk about emotional dependence and manipulation, when all this time you lived in his house and slept with him out of pity. Maybe I seemed very innocent in your eyes or Jim's and I really wish them the best, but after more than four years of relationship, the only thing you have to say about your ex boyfriend is that he has thousands of problems and disorders, because the Emotional dependence is a disorder, so you didn't love him seriously.— Wen got up from his place, approaching the opposite angrily. —Say it again.— Gaipa stood up in a calm manner approaching Wen to tell him in a normal tone of voice. —If he made you so happy and you loved him so much, you wouldn't be here.—
Wen is the time to answer what he did was take his things and walk towards the door, leaving that boy's house and heading to Jim's restaurant. Meanwhile, Gaipa went outside to get some air, observing how Heart and Li Ming were still having ice cream in the corner while talking to each other.
—I don't know why I tried to warn him.— Jim, who had finished tidying things up for the arrival of the customers at noon, looked at Wen angrily, sitting down at one of the tables. —Ai Wen, what's wrong?—. —It's Gaipa, I wanted to warn him about Alan, but it didn't go as well as I expected.— Jim sighed, frowning and sitting across from him.
—Wen, you shouldn't get involved in something that's past, Alan has the right to be with whoever he wants and if you meet that person then don't get involved, Gaipa is a mature guy who knows what he's doing and if that were the case they would fall in love. You should not warn or interfere, that is not your job, you have told Alan and I many times that we should let go and move on, I think you should follow your own advice.—
—But...—. —It's not for you to go where you're not called, you shouldn't be anyone's third wheel.— Having said that, Jim got up and continued with his work receiving his clients.
At the corner of Gaipa's house, Li Ming and Heart finished eating their ice cream, while they saw a man pass by with a suit and a briefcase who stopped at Gaipa's house, for a moment Ming thought that he was involved in a problem, so he went over to ask. —Excuse me, are you looking for someone in particular?— Alan turned his gaze, smiling at that little boy and nodding. —I'm looking for Gaipa, he lives here, right?— Ming looked at him again and nodded before being pulled by Heart's shirt again. —Now come on, give me a second.—. —Is your friend?—. —My boyfriend.— Alan smiled at him again and looked towards the door that opened revealing Gaipa who came out with a couple of boxes. —Alan? What are you doing here?—. —I came to see you, I think we have something to talk about.—
—P'Gaipa, do you know him?— Gaipa nodded and smiled at Ming and Heart who kept looking everywhere. —Oh yeah, Heart and I are on a date, I said I'd take him to see the new Hollywood movie, so we'll go now, see you.—
As both boys left, Alan watched as Gaipa left the boxes in the area where the garbage collectors used to pass. —What do you need to talk about?—. —It's about the other night.— The shorter one smiled and stopped at his door. —I'm a little busy to talk about a one night stand, my house is a mess and I'm throwing out old stuff so I don't think we can talk.—. —Do I help you.—. —How do you say?— That boy adjusted his glasses and entered the house of the opposite, leaving his suitcase on the sofa and then taking off his jacket and tie. —Do you know that it's rude to enter someone's house without their permission?—. —Avoiding conversations is also rude when that conversation is important to one.—
Gaipa crossed his arms and smiled sideways watching how that boy arranged the messy boxes. —Where do I put this?—. —Put it there, silly.— Alan turned around and gave him a smile before putting the boxes back where he had said it. —At least this fool can do magic in just one night.—
