Chapter 4

The next day things between the two had returned to normal, a normal of silence and no words. Both making minimal effort to treat the other like they didn't exist. All her classes went by like any other day. Class work getting done with ease, male eyes staring at her in hunger, uneasiness with it all, lunch under her tree, then her dorm room at night. The room itself being treated like lava if anyone stepped over the invisible line that divided their sides. Rinse. Wash. Repeat. Soon enough the weekend finally rolled around once again.

~Just have to hold out a little longer; graduation is so close~ Krystal then lifted her eyes from her book briefly to glance over at the Russian blader. As quickly as her eyes left her reading material they soon returned.

~Wonder why he hasn't left yet for the weekend~

Just as those thoughts hit there was a loud knock on the door then Kaito's voice could be heard but it wasn't directed towards her but towards his blader friend.

"Kai, hey man open up. Tyson's here to..." then a loud thump was heard and another voice came from behind the door.

"KAI!! OPEN UP"

Krystal looked too Kai who pretended like he didn't hear a word. She then stood up and opened the door to come face to face with her brother shoved into the wall and a blue haired boy wearing a blue/red/white baseball cap stood right in front of her. Slight tension rose in her, and she felt her muscles tense but she kept a cool and collective look plastered to her face. After staring him down for a few minutes her eyes lit up with some reorganization. This was Tyson Granger, storm blader from the world champion team the Bladebreakers and one of Kai's teammates. Any blader would know of them but of course she had never seen them in person or up close. Kaito then shoved Tyson some and pushed himself off the wall. "Hey sis"

Tyson blinked a couple of times then made eye contact with Krystal. "She's your sister!?! Dude she's pretty." That earned him a good solid hit on the back of his head from Kaito. "Don't even think about it Tyson!" He growled out.

"OW!" Why did you do that! Relax Kaito I have Hil remember." Tyson then turned back to Krystal and extended his hand. "Hey, I am Tyson! He exclaimed in a happy high-pitched voice.

Krystal looked at his hand and shifted back slightly before meeting his eyes. "Umm I don't do touching, but you can come in since Kai is actually here." Shen then stepped back into the room leaving the door open for them to enter. Tyson withdrew his hand and stepped into the dorm room.

"Geeze, your sister's been around Kai too much already. That's the last thing we need is a female version of the grouch." He mumbled but then quickly dismissed the thought when his eyes landed on Kai.

"Hey captain!" Why didn't you answer me!" Tyson whined before throwing himself onto the foot of Kai's bed like a fish. Kai growled and eyed Tyson.

"Get off Tyson. What do you want anyways?" The blue haired boy ignored him and rolled to his side leaning on his hand with his face while his elbow rested on the bed.

"Kai I am having a party at my place this weekend. Grandpa is out of town for the week. There won't be too many people, but we all are like, a few weeks from graduation so I figured it would be fun. Say you'll come."

"No"

"But Kai, come on."

"I said no Tyson."

"Kai, pleeezzze!"

This back and forth went on for a solid 15 minutes. Krystal and Kaito sitting on her bed just watching in amusement.
