Isaiah Briscoe POV: Bonding with Jamal and our baby.

Isaiah Briscoe POV:

Not only do I have Isabelle in my life, but Jamal and Isabelle are both my babies and best friends too. Just so you know he's trying to recover after going through six hours of labor and Jamal told me that he had been pushing for 3-4 hours just to get the baby to come out. Otherwise, he's doing alright so far. Thus, Jamal will have to stay in the hospital for more than three days since he birthed a nine pound baby.

Kitchener, Ontario
6:00am,

It was six in the morning and Jamal was awake. Isaiah was there accompanying Jamal and the baby. "You didn't get enough sleep last night," Jamal told Isaiah. "I know, your mom told me you passed out after giving birth," "Trust me, I was crying because I was worried about our baby and it hurts like crazy. The fact was that the shoulders were stuck when her head was still emerging from my birth canal," Jamal explained. "I have been pushing for 3-4 hours and she wouldn't come out. In fact, my father lifted my nightgown which it was showing my baby bump. They wanted my baby bump to be showing during birth," Isaiah was guilty that he wasn't there for Jamal when he went in labor. "I'm sorry, I wasn't there for you when you were due to give birth at home," "It's okay, don't even worry about it love. Besides, you can always accompany me when Isabelle is going to have another sibling," He said.
Well of course Jamal was his girlfriend and fiancée. Plus, he was expecting a baby girl with him.

"She's ours now babe," He smiled as Isaiah placed a kiss on Jamal's lips. "And I thanked her for making me become a mother," The laughed together while Isabelle was soundly asleep on his chest. "You know when I found out I was pregnant with our baby Belle, I didn't think it would be possible for us to become parents, but we made it happen," Jamal explained. "But for a record, I know that I'll never stop being a mom to our baby Belle," Isabelle wakes up crying. "Sorry, did mommy wake you up?" He cradles her on the back. "I know, you want to go to sleep. Babe, you should go home and get some rest, but don't forget to take a shower before you rest," "Okay babe, I will," Isaiah heads home to take a quick shower before he goes to sleep. Yet, Jamal and the baby both fell asleep.

2 hours later,

His teammates came to visit him and they were awestruck by the sight that Jamal was holding a newborn in his arms. "Wow! Look at that beautiful baby," Gary saw the newborn. "She looks so much like her mommy Jamal," Even Nikola, Will and Michael Malone came here to get to know the baby girl better. "What's her name?" Will followed. "Isabelle," Jamal answered. "That's a lovely name," Michael Malone smiles. "So Gary? Will? Are you planning on having a baby?" "Soon," Gary said. "Besides, I'm ready to become a mother Will," "We can make that happen," Will Barton said.

"How much did she weigh?" Nikola asked. "Nine pounds," Jamal replied. "Goodness! She's heavy," "I know, tell me about it Nikola, I've been pushing for 3-4 hours trying to get her to come out," He sighed. "Oh I see, did you give birth at home or at the hospital?" "At home," He said. "Wow! I'm sure having to birth a nine pound baby must've been very difficult for you," "I know and I had to do an all fours, my dad had to apply an oil on my back to help get the baby's head to come out," Jamal explained. "In that case, the baby was facing down on my tailbone and I had to cling onto my dad's shoulders. Trust me! It was hurting so bad. Even when the head was coming out slowly, my dad kept telling me to push and I did, but she couldn't come out. However, I was unaware that my baby was going to be nine pounds at birth. Imagine if my baby was ten pounds, dang! I would be having a hard time trying to get the baby to come out and I would be crying," "Having a nine and ten pound baby at birth? Oh my! You do know our 6'4" bodies cannot withstand that," Gary said shakily. "Yeah I know, but I'm fine now," Later on, Isabelle starts waking up and let out a cry. "Oh Belle is awake, not to worry I'll take care of her," Gary hands the baby girl back to Jamal.

Jamal cradles his crying baby girl on his bare chest. "It's okay baby girl, mommy's here," He comforts her by rubbing her back. "You know her cries were very loud," "I see," Michael Malone smiles. "It's okay little girl, you're fine," Later on, the head coach recommended for Jamal to get some rest after the birth of his baby. In the meantime, he can let him know if he's ready to go back to the game. Otherwise, he'll just rest to care for his daughter.
