*Jamal Murray POV: Staying at home and packing for the birth of my 2nd baby*

Jamal Murray~ 8 months and 38 weeks pregnant,
Denver, Colorado
7:30am,

Isaiah Briscoe starts his morning with Jamal and their 2 year old daughter by his side. Since they were planning to celebrate the 2nd birthday of their daughter, Isabelle can hardly wait to become a big sister. However, there were times that Jamal wanted Isaiah to be with him when he gives birth because he couldn't do this alone without him. Isaiah stares at Jamal's engagement ring and of course he is engaged to his college roommate.

Jamal Murray: Babe I know you don't like any red stuff when it comes to having a baby.

Isaiah Briscoe: I know.

Jamal Murray: If you're going to be here with me when I go in labor, will you please be here and stop going to the game?

Isaiah Briscoe: sure my love.

Jamal Murray: Promise?

Isaiah Briscoe: I promise Jamal, I'll try to be here until our second baby is born.

Isabelle wakes up to hear her parents talking.

Isabelle: Mommy, Daddy. What's wrong? Is everything ok?

Jamal Murray: Everything is fine Belle. I just want your daddy to be with me when your mommy is going to have a baby.

Isabelle: ok, can I stay here with you mommy? I don't want you to be lonely 😢

Jamal Murray: Of course you can stay with mommy.

Jamal started tearing up when Isabelle wanted to stay with her mom when he's going to have a baby. Her little hands were rubbing her 6'4" mother's back.

Isaiah Briscoe: it will be alright Jamal, don't think that I'm not going to attend the birth of our baby because I know I will be here ok? Don't cry now love.

Jamal Murray: it's fine, it's just that I really don't want you to go. You never been there for all this time when I went in labor with our first baby. Why?

Isaiah Briscoe: I have no idea Jamal, I mean I don't like red stuff you know?

Jamal Murray: oh so that's your excuse then?

Isaiah Briscoe: Jamal please let me explain. I know I wasn't there for you when you pushed the baby out, I didn't know what to do and I'm sorry. Are you mad at me?

Jamal Murray: No I'm not mad, I'm just upset that you're not here. You have many reasons to leave me just to look after our little girl. I had to go to the game just to have mom and dad babysit Isabelle and then took some time off to be with her.

Isaiah Briscoe: I'm sorry Jamal, I really do. Please don't think that I abandoned you. You know if I have any shortcomings, I know what I would do to make it up to you for the sake of our relationship and mostly our bundles. I mean I have been trying to tell you so that you won't yell at me.

Jamal Murray: Isaiah, I don't want to hear your excuses.

Isaiah Briscoe: Jamal, I didn't know what to do ok? I wasn't there. We can leave this behind and focus on what we can do.

He placed his hand on Jamal's 8 month baby bump and kissed him on the forehead. "I'll give you some time if you're mad at me Jamal," He whispered to his fiancée holding Isabelle. Jamal said nothing to Isaiah and sighed.

Isaiah Briscoe: Jamal? Jamal? Jamal? Jamal?

Jamal Murray: what!

Isaiah Briscoe: Can we still talk or you're mad at me?
