Summary: After unfortunately letting Snart and Mick get away to save Iris's life, Barry decided that it's time to train his speed to get faster since his fighting skills are nearly up to Oliver's level and his abilities are what he can work with at the moment since he haven't time traveled yet in order to improve them farther. But before he can do that, he'll have to take care of Plastique and General Eiling first.

Intro

My name is Barry Allen and I am the fastest man alive. After waking up in this strange new world and in the body of Barry Allen no less, after some intense thinking, I've ultimately decided to stay and accepted my new identity as Barry to see if I have what it takes to be a true hero, there dangers lurking in every corners of the city and with my knowledge of how things will go down I am the only one fast enough to stop them. I am The Flash.

-Few Days After The Fight With Captain Cold-

After The Flash's last confrontation with Snart aka Captain Cold, and at the last minute Heatwave, he came to a startling realization that the criminals he's facing are now different then how they're supposed to be in the series, Iris getting kidnapped by Mick wasn't supposed to happen and he certainly wasn't supposed to have his heat gun just yet, perhaps they're getting smarter then how they're supposed to have been. Or maybe "someone" is helping them get better at trying to defeat The Flash.

"Thawne was definitely been behind it but with no proof or solid evidence I can't just accuse the bastard, no matter how much I really want to." Thought Barry.

With that said, Barry had decided to go to a bar with Cisco, Caitlin, Iris and Eddie in order to relax for a few hours and have some fun but to his dismay he remembered that he couldn't drink alcohol as it didn't have an effect on him due to his high metabolism so he'll have to fake it till he gets Caitlin to create that serum that allows him to drink alcohol and get drunk again.

"Ah one of the many downsides of being the fastest man alive: I can't get drunk. Really is a bummer that Speedsters can't get drunk but I suppose that's a given as I wouldn't want to drink and run, I could see the headlines already: 'The Flash is drunk? Stay tuned for more information about the fastest man alive being drunk at 9:00 am on channel 5'" Bemused Barry.

While Barry Caitlin and Cisco were talking about Barry's drinking problem and watching Eddie and Iris have fun, Eddie's phone got an alert signaling that an explosion went off downtown on 8th and pass. Eddie kissed Iris goodbye as he left to go deal with the situation, and Iris is once again following Eddie to see the situation for herself for some unknown reason, Barry thought it was a good time to test out his newly created Flash Ring that he partially created when he was creating his Flash suit.

"Really hoping I got all the bugs worked out." Thought Barry as he flashed back to when he was creating his Ring.

-Flashback to when Barry was creating his suit-

As Barry was putting the finishing touches on his suit, he thought about creating his Flash Ring since A) he's not gonna be with Iris so no Nora-West-Allen to bring him the ring from the future and B) he didn't want to leave his suit on the mannequin 24/7 in case someone just blindly walks into STAR Labs.
