James's voice cut through the silence. "Remember what you told us about your father? How he vanished in the attic? Maybe he's still alive, hiding in the city of refuge that the man mentioned." His words sparked a glimmer of hope in Tim's heart. He jumped to his feet and declared, "Then we have to save the city and bring my dad back!"

Sarah shook her head. "But the man also said that no one was strong enough to fight those creatures. And we don't even know what they look like." Tim had a sudden flash of inspiration. He recalled his father's talent for drawing. If his dad had encountered the Rixar, he would have sketched them in one of his journals. They dashed back to the room in the arena and began to search frantically. After a few minutes, Tim let out a triumphant cry. He held up a leather-bound book. "This is one of my father's journals. I bet it has some clues about the creature.".

As they flipped through the pages of the book, they stumbled upon a guide that revealed how to return home. It said that the only way to leave this world was to wear the necklace and point the gem toward the sun. A beam of light would transport the wearer back to their own time. Sarah and James felt a pang of sadness as they realized there was only one necklace. "Maybe there are more necklaces somewhere in this place," James suggested, but he didn't sound very hopeful.

They searched every corner of the room, but they found no trace of another necklace. Then Tim had an idea. "What if the villagers know something about these?" He suggested. They decided to go back to the village and join the people for their meal. Tim showed them the necklace and the picture of his father, who had been a gladiator in this world. He asked them, "My father gave me this necklace before he disappeared. He was one of the best fighters here. Do you know where we can find more of these?" The villagers gasped when they saw the picture and the necklace. The leader of the group spoke with a trembling voice. "That is a warrior's necklace. Your father was the greatest gladiator of all time. He was brave enough to stand up against the Rixars during the uprising, but he was taken away by force. Only gladiators have those pendants, and they are very rare. You might find some in the ruler's arena court, where new gladiators receive them when they join."

James whispered, "Which door leads to the court of the king?" He pointed to a faded sign that read, "The door with the royal fish." They hugged their friends goodbye and sprinted to the arena. They spotted the door among the others and slipped in. As soon as they crossed the threshold, they gasped at the sight of a vast hall filled with glittering treasures that lay forgotten in the dust. They wondered what secrets and stories these objects hid. They wasted no time and began their frantic search for the pendants. After dodging traps and solving riddles, they finally found the pendant among the jewels. They cheered and dashed to the center of the arena where the guide was waiting. There was a blinding flash followed by a deafening sound. When they opened their eyes again, they were back in the attic where it all started.

"That was incredible!" James exclaimed. Sarah shivered, "The place gave me the chills." Tim checked his watch, "Look! Hardly any time has passed since we left. Quick, give me the necklaces and I'll stash them in the chest." Sarah and James handed him the necklaces. He took the three necklaces and locked them away in the chest. They agreed that they would come back there every day at the same time and continue their adventure.
