The next day, they met again after lunch, eager to continue their adventure. Tim had a surprise for them. "You won't believe what I found yesterday after you left. I was rummaging through my father's old stuff and I came across this newspaper clipping. It has details of the riot that happened in the city and a picture of the creature that caused it." He unfolded the paper and showed it to them. It was a sight to behold. A monstrous beast, with razor-sharp claws and teeth, towering over the buildings and cars. It looked like it could devour anything in its path.

"Wow, that's huge! And terrifying!" Sarah gasped. James felt a shiver run down his spine. "Are you sure we should go there? I mean, it looks dangerous. What are the chances of us surviving that?" Tim and Sarah put on their necklaces and grinned. "Come on, don't be a chicken. Put on your necklace and let's go. Trust me, it'll be fun."

They arrived at the arena and gasped at the sight of the deep gashes that scarred the inner walls. Something had attacked this place with savage fury. They remembered how peaceful and calm it had looked the day before when they had scouted the area for a safe shelter. The Rixars must have been here. They felt a surge of dread and ran towards the villages, hoping to find some survivors. What they saw was a scene of horror and devastation. Many of the huts were reduced to rubble, and blood stained the ground. They entered the cabin where they had met the villagers and breathed a sigh of relief when they saw them alive, but trembling with fear. They asked them what had happened, and the leader spoke with a voice full of sorrow. "Yesterday, one of my men went out to the wall that separates us from the next village, hoping to get some food and supplies. He never came back. The Rixars found him and ripped him apart. They also found the gap in the wall and broke through it. They have invaded another village now. No one is safe from these monsters."

They got up and hurried back to the arena, hoping to find some protection there. They barricaded the windows and the door with some of the large crates that were lying around and tried to come up with a plan. Maybe they could find some weapons in the other rooms, something more effective than the daggers they had taken yesterday. Those were useless against these beasts.

They agreed to split up and rendezvous in the ruler's court after an hour or so to share what they had found. An hour later they regrouped with a handful of potential weapons that they could use to fight. There were swords of various sizes, spears, crossbows, and bows. However, they were clueless about how to use them effectively against their enemies. They loaded as many weapons as they could and headed to the villagers.

"Do you have any idea how to kill these animals? There has to be a way to stop them, right?" Tim asked the men. They replied "The only way to kill these animals is by using your intellect. These animals are very smart. They have a weak spot though. It's located just below the lower jaw and above the neck. According to what we've seen in the arena they can only be defeated by attacking them there. However, we must warn you that if you are attempting to do that it is really complicated to get the beast on its back." One of the older women in the group suddenly spoke up "My husband used to hunt these animals. He told me that the beasts are terrified of fire. That may help you to accomplish something.". The trio thanked the villagers and came out of the cabin to continue their planning.
