Goode Reads Battle of the Labyrinth

Chapter 1

PΣRCΨ'S P.Ω.V.

I WOKE UP SWEATING WHILE my alarm clock screamed at me. I just had another dream about Tartarus. It's been about a month since we've closed the doors of death and defeated Gaea, so I guess I'm used to it by now.

After the war I decided to go back to school for my Junior year(AN: He's in his junior year! I did the math and since he was in sixth grade when he was twelve that means he should be in Junior year when he's seventeen!), and put off New Rome until I'm a Senior. Annabeth agreed and did the same. The downside is, is that she's going to school in San Francisco, so I won't see her as often.

This year is going to be extremely difficult. Why? Let me explain. Before we blew Gaea into the sky(courtesy of Octavian and Leo) she did something unplanned. After the incident at the Doors of Death, she personally set out to hurt Hecate. Hecate was injured causing the mist to collapse, which as you know, is not good.

Hecate was nursed, well Hecate was Apolloed back to health thanks to Apollo and a lot of ambrosia. So the mist is back(thank the Gods), but while the mist was down mortals noticed. So basically the Gods told the mortals about our world. But to keep us safe they told them that they stopped having affairs with mortals millennium ago.

So to summarize, Hecate got a boo- boo and now the world knows about the Gods. But they don't know anything about demigods. Which is why this year is going to be so hard. So all they know is that the Gods and monsters exist. The bright side is they don't know about me....

So back to topic(I WANT TO KILL MY ADHD), today is actually my first day back to Goode. At least I get to see some of my old mortal friends. That's right world, I actually have friends! They are Victoria, Seth, Carmen, and Dennis.Carmen and Dennis are twins. Carmen is basically the brainiac of the group. She has freckles, light brown hair, and green eyes. She is basically a nerd is not afraid to let the world know that.

Dennis has basically almost the opposite personality of her. He basically looks the same as Carmen, except he's a guy and he doesn't have freckles. He is really like me, I think. He has ADD and is really annoying and dimwitted sometimes. He's like my best friend in school.

Seth is dating Carmen. He is really shy, but don't let that fool you. He can be the craziest person on earth. He has dirty blonde hair, brown eyes, he's 5'9, and he's very athletic. In my opinion, minus the looks, he could be the Stolls triplet. He basically is a master pranker.Victoria is the funniest person I've ever meant. She has the same kind of humor as me. In a way, she's a girl version of Leo. She has curly dark brown hair with green highlights, blue eyes, and glasses.

I walk into the kitchen and mom and Paul are already sitting at the table.

"Hey honey." My mom says, "Do you want pancakes?"

"Yeah." I reply still half asleep. It is six thirty, I should not be awake! My mom takes the pancakes off the fryer and puts them right in front of me.

"Thanks mom." I say digging into my pancakes. Blue, just how I like them.

I zone out of the next thirty minutes of my life while Paul drives me to school with him. We both get out of the car and Paul heads toward his classroom while I head towards the administration office. Since I never showed up for the second semester, I have to go get my new schedule while everyone else got theirs a week ago.

I get my schedule and most of it wasn't what I was expecting. It had regular classes like Algebra, Biology, Reading. But what really surprised me was that I had a Greek/Roman Mythology class. Or Greek. It must be because of the Gods. At least the classes will be easy this year. I just don't know how I'm going to blend in as a normal student though.

I look at my schedule again to see where my homeroom is. Oh my gods, Paul is my homeroom teacher! This is awesome, I get forty-five minutes of homeroom each day! I should probably find his classroom, I've had enough trouble with being late on the first day(long story).
