..It worked.
The ambulance rushed up to SMG1's home and carried the still body of the meme guardian inside the truck. It also happened to be raining today. Hopefully the tires skiing over the mud won't get too annoying...
Tari and SMG2, SMG1's sibling, were sitting in the ambulance with him. SMG1 couldn't feel a thing or hear anything, since he passed out from blood loss. Duh. Tari seemed to be calming down just a little bit, but not a lot. SMG2, on the other hand? He was flat out confused... and scared.
He heard a scream while he was hanging out with Tari, and just stayed on the couch while Tari checked on what that was. And now... SMG1, his brother, looked... lifeless. Like he was gone, but he wasn't. The ambulance folks told him AND Tari that SMG1 still had a pulse.
SMG2 couldn't help but feel intensely bad for his brother.
"...Tari?" SMG2 started, quietly. "What... What happened to One...?" He asked.
"Oh! Uhm..." Tari hesitated for a moment. "One uh... he... something... something went down. I'm... not too sure about it..." She answered.
"What went down?" SMG2 asked Tari. "Why'd you..." SMG2 hesitated, and gave Tari a sternish look. "Why'd you shoot one?"
Tari flinched. She did NOT want to be reminded about that. "I-I didn't mean to, I-I promise!" She exclaimed, raising her voice just a little bit. "I just—.. I think SMG1 was being... controlled or... possessed by something."
"...What makes you think that?" SMG2 replied, their stern look softening a bit.
"Well.. you see... he looked a bit... darker than normal. And then he..." Oh god. How is she gonna explain this to Two? Well... it's safer to rip the band aid off than keep it on.
With a deep breath, Tari rolled up her sleeve and showed off the wound 01-1 gave her. "...He did this." She spat it out. SMG2 was shocked at the arm injury he was seeing right now. It looked pretty... well... bad.
"...Wh-What...?!" SMG2 claimed, with a face full of fear, concern and confusion.
"Yeah... like I said though—" Tari continued, rolling her sleeve back up. "I'm sure SMG1 didn't mean to do it. He could've been possessed or something like that..." Tari took another deep breath. "...I don't know, Two... I just..." She turned her attention to SMG2. "...I just don't want One to hate me for... for what I did." She finished.
