"It used to be that being a god meant something. People would whisper your name before sharing their deepest hopes and dreams. They begged you for mercy without ever knowing if you were every listening. Now, when they look to the sky, they don't ask us for lightning. They don't ask us for rain. They just want to see one of their so-called superheroes. When did we become the joke? No. No more. They will fear us again when Thor Odinson falls from the sky. Do you understand me, Hercules? Do you understand me, my son?" Zeus asked, reclining in his throne.
"Yes, I understand father." Hercules responded, the Golden Mace and Sword of Peleus swinging around in his hands. "I will avenge his great injustice done upon you." he added before turning around and leaving the room, his boots colliding with the ground each step he took.

New Asgard
Valkyrie sat upon her throne at New Asgard, over watching her people. Since Gorr had attacked their home, things had gotten more peaceful, or as peaceful as a race of extraterrestrial beings who live in a previously Norwegian village can be. Valkyrie often just sat and thought, for hours upon end.
Her true call was to be a warrior, not a king. She isn't equipped to manage a society's needs, she's equipped with a blade and the urge to mow down a battlefield of enemies. Her calls of bloodlust were answered when the crack of lightning startled her, causing to jump out of her seat. "Thor?" she muttered under her breath, running over to see the cause.
But a look of confusion crossed her face. This was not Thor, it was somebody else. Holding a sword and a golden mace, made out of pure muscle. Valkyrie approached him, leading for him to say, "I have come for Odinson. Where is he?"
"Who are you?" Bruddenhilde asked, looking up at the man. An audience had formed by now, eager to see who this person who was in their home really was.
"You do not understand my question. I said, where is Thor Odinson." he impatiently stated, grabbing Valkyrie by the neck and causing many to gasp out.
"L-le go of me. W-" Valkyrie was cut off when the man launched her into a nearby building, smashing the wall and knocking her out cold as she lay in the rubble. Cries ran out amongst the audience as several ran over to help their ruler.
"I need not be questioned!" the man declared, yelling out. "Now will somebody tell me, where is the God of Thunder?" Many cowered and got the fetal position as he ran towards the group of people, twirling his mace and holding his blade up to the sky. The clouds turned dark and the sky rumbled as rain poured down the village, soaking all of its residents.
But everybody turned their heads as a collective battle cry rang out amongst the area. The cause was Lady Sif, leading a charge of Einherjar-in-training, particularly Axl Heimdallson, next to his mentor and standing out as a leader to his fellow peers. The warrior goddess was wielding a shield with her prosthetic limb and her Double Bladed-Sword in the other. All of their mouths were wide open as they strained their vocal chords and produced the loudest sound they possibly could, the true Asgardian way.
"Hercules!" Lady Sif shouted as she stopped, holding her hand out to tell her charge to halt as well. They obeyed, though all of them were on the balls of their feet, waiting to burst out into battle. He flashed a crooked smirk as he stood there, looking upon the legion.
"You are correct, goddess of Asgard. It must be very hard on you to have your entire godly realm destroyed, isn't it? As well as having a prosthetic arm. So primitive of your pantheon to not have limb generation." Hercules said, giving a slight chuckle. "Anyways, let me cut to the chase. I have come for Thor Odinson, and maybe you know some information on his whereabouts that your clueless citizens don't."
"What business do you want with him, Greek?" she asked, holding her blade out and pointing it at him. "He's not here, anyway."
"If you must know, I have come on orders from my father. On the behalf of the Council of Godheads. But that is the extent of which I will tell you about my assignment. I just need to locate Thor. So where is he?" Hercules asked, staring down Lady Sif.
"I refuse to tell you, pig. If you want that information, you'll have to go to somebody else." Lady Sif responded, glaring at Hercules. The Olympian put the Sword of Peleus back in its sheath, which was rest on his back.
"Fine, I'll just have to beat it out of you." Hercules answered, sprinting at the group as he put his swordLady Sif and her warriors charged towards Hercules as well, all screaming their battle cry once more. Just before the two deities met, Hercules squatted down and jumped in the air, rocketing above several buildings. On the way down he screamed as he swung his the ground right in the middle of the opposition, creating a crater in the ground as a shockwave rippled through New Asgard.
All of the warriors lost their balance and fell down, some dropping their weapons, except for Lady Sif who managed to keep her balance. The goddess swung her blade at Hercules with all of her might but it was to no avail. The Olympian grabbed her blade with his right hand, only slightly pushing him back in place. Hercules ripped the sword out of her hand and tossed it far off to his right.
Ichor covered Hercules' right hand as he put his hands together on the handle of his Golden Mace, swinging it towards Sif. It bashed into her shield, denting it as she was pushed back. Hercules went for another swing of his mace but was knocked to the side by Axl Heimdallson, slamming into his right hip and nearly knocking him over. "Lady Sif, get your sword!" the son of Heimdall called out. Lady Sif started sprinting towards her sword which was about 40 yards away, in a pile of some stones.
But Hercules turned around and grabbed Axl by his head, pulling the boy into his chest. "Stop! I have the boy! Now tell me where Odinson is or off goes his head!" Sif turned back and looked at Axl.
She was trained to be a warrior, make hard decisions in moments like these. But she just couldn't bring herself to letting her student die. Sif raised her hands as Hercules walked towards her, dragging Axl with him. "Now where is he?!" Hercules demanded, swinging the mace very close to Axl's head.
"Nidavellir! He's on Nidavellir!" Sif hastily answered. Hercules gave a cocky smile as he tossed Axl towards the goddess, causing him to fall to her feet. Hercules launched up and flew through the sky as he left New Asgard and entered the stratosphere.
But in the background of all of this, one god was watching. A Norse one. With black hair and a concerned look on his face, stood a god of mischief. Loki, Variant L1130. As the portal dissipated, he vanished from New Asgard, going to get help.
