SYNOPSIS
At the age of 16, Nymir Collins is a junior at Phonix-High, grappling with the burdens of depression and anxiety while navigating the unique challenges faced by a gay black teenager. Throughout his life, he has consistently felt like a background character, overshadowed not only by his well-known twin brother but also by his five siblings. He finds solace only within his small circle of friends. Growing up in a less-than-ideal household without his father's presence has left its mark on him, leading to the development of 'daddy issues' and a host of other challenges.
Nymir manages to maintain a semblance of normalcy alongside his friends until the return of a toxic ex-lover, who threatens to disrupt his fragile balance. As his grades begin to slip, his mental state deteriorates, and he finds his heart broken by those around him, Nymir is engulfed by what can only be described as a 'Love Drought' amidst the drama.
The question remains: can Nymir find a way to cope with his inner turmoil without causing harm to himself or those he cares about? Dive into the story to uncover the answers.
