Knock knock!! Knock knock!!
Ugh, who could it be, I'm just about to head off to my government job. It's like 5pm...
KNOCK KNOCK!!!
They sure are persistent.
KNOCK KNOCK!!!!
"Ugh! I'll be right there! One moment!!"
"Hello, this is the Olson residen— ALODIA!?"
"Why are you all dressed up? And what is that you're carrying?"
"Uhm— I—"
"Don't tell me you've been keeping secrets from me..." She said as if she was about to break down in tears
"Well... I have, I can't say I ever planned to tell you about this... I'm sorry you had to find out..."
"Just what do you take me for?"
"A friend."
"Is that all?"
"Someone who is always by my side, till death do us part."
"..."
"Hey! Don't cry... I'm sorry. I really am."
"I can't believe you sometimes, I thought you said you didn't have a lover."
"But— I don—"
"Stop lying to me, you're going on a date aren't you?"
"I'm no—"
"You lying is making this worse. Here, take this back, it looks like I won't be needing it anymore."
With her hands shaking she placed our friendship bracelet in my hand. Then she ran off. I'm not quite sure what to do anymore... I guess I'll just have to try and live without her. Focus on work more, to distract myself from it all.
"THEO!!"
"What? My ears hurt..."
"You look ill.. and I don't think you've gotten any sleep in the past week by the looks of it. I also called your name four times and you didn't even notice."
"Oh...."
"Let's take you to the doctors, come on."
"I'm fine, I swear, you're overreacting!"
A look of shock came over Rani's face, they looked to be trembling. Then I realized I had unknowingly grasped onto her arm tightly in a fit of rage, when I let her go and was about to apologize she ran away... just like Alodia did.I need to get a hold of myself... the past few days have been a blur, and I can't seem to remember any of it. Ever since Alodia left, I can't really remember things. It all feels hazy... I can't remember the last time I've eaten or slept... perhaps I simply haven't done either for some time.
Gah, this is driving me up a wall, one moment I have clear focus on everything the next I don't... now I'm at my government job. A new signal? Oh right... Zawisza.
"Is this working? The power cut out mid way sending my message, I'm currently at [REDACTED] come and save us or, at least what's left of us. I can't guarantee more than just me are alive.
-Zawisza M."This is definitely fishy... there must be a middleman that all these signals are going through first in order for things to be blatantly redacted. But who? These machines aren't that complex... and why would they forward the censored messages to the communications department of a government facility? Well, I guess we first need to know how much power someone would have to have to pull something like this off.
You see, it's not really that difficult to stop a Morse code signal from being sent. But for one most people don't understand Morse code, for two it's difficult to edit a signal and forward it and still have it be traced back to the same machine. Usually there would be some trace of a different machine, but for what it's worth I can't find anything that indicates that.
